i question regarding Honda City 2005 Tyres. My City comes with 175/70/R13 tyres . however, i have problem that when any jump comes while driving with full load(4 passengers at least), jump hits the car below, probably near oil chamber and in the middle part below. it happens most of the times.

i want to know if i change my tyres to 185/65/R14 or 185/70/R15, then the car will be little high or not.

what should i do? i want that my fuel efficiency would not disturb after the new tyres.
or there is other way to increase car height?

suggestion from experienced people.

although changing size of tires to larger ones would help increasing the height on ur car but thats not the right thing.this would cause speedometer error and will also damage suspension and worsen fuel economy.when a car is loaded, it usually hits from below the rear half.to lift the rear half a bit, theres a thing called "spacer" or 'canvas' or 'packing' , its put below or above the rear springs.this lifts the car up by as much as u want.my own car has got it and heres a picture.note the silver thing above the springs.but yes, do note that this WILL make the ride stiffer and u may not like that, i do, btw.

by the way, i got my car tunned. and now i am getting average of 140+ average on CNG(which was 110 before tuning) in city traffic. not sure economy on highway/motorway, as i still not drive car on motorway. i am very impressed with its cng/fuel economy.

well 185/65/r14 is the best one and im using it too.its goof for mileage and suspension too.gives much better grip.if u want a little bit increased height, u can get 185/70.r14 but i dont think the difference would be noticeable.u probably WILL have to get packing if u want clearance of an inch or so.as for brand, i love yokohamas but sadly, not many of them are available in the market now. A drive, C drive, S drive are good tires but im not sure if they are still available. bridgestone potenza, dunlop sp3000 or sp9000 are good too.

i ve got the size i recommended and just recently, i got 160km in one cylinder on local driving with 30% a.c. thats not bad at all

Although the car was driven normally I got these changed to 185/70/R13 for better grip and control + keeping the economy(Fuel) good. [Do not get the General Euro Glide series, but any other brand.]

I have 165/80/R13 installed and they look really weird! I guess Honda here just puts on whatever tire they find lying nearest. Thanks god at least all four tires are same size.
Anyways after much research i am thinking to replace them with Dunlop SP 185/70/R13.

Brother that is a good option, but 'if' you want you could go for some 14" new/used rims and some good 185/65/R14 rubber. It would make your car alot smoother and better to drive. I tried this setup for a week but had to return the test tyres to my cousin as he did not like my 13" tyres exchange for his 14" tyres. Made his car look small.
