just have your car ECM scanned and look for MAP voltages and response time and service TB with all sensors hopefully you'll be fine, mine MAP sensor giving low voltage error so i have this problem

on petrol my city runs like a charm but i am facing issues on cng also! i am new to this car plz suggest me some good mechanics and some info about electrics! on cnd its engine shutts off whenever the car is in neutral position and on cng the the rpm dies on idle! upset : (

if ur car is working fine on petrol, then it must be tuning issues on cng.get the tappets adjusted, air filter cleaned/changed and throttle body properly cleaned. ur car will be fine.
however, if the problem remains on petrol too, then theres something wrong with the sensor.
unfortunately, very few people in this club own the 01-03 city so not many can comment on this.

Today i was just driving around and the car was working perfectly fine, i saw a service station and i thought lets get the air filter clean. So i got some huwa on it. Now its running a little weird. the pick has kinda detoriated. Looks like the settings didnt like too much air flowing in.

its working fine now! MAF and MAP sensors are absolutely fine! cng settings were needed! and my cng kits emulator was missing got it fitted today and nw its again workin like a charm : ) thanx fr the help guys!

however its not picking up race on ac turned on! that problem is to be solved! tell me wat things should i get checked??

hmmmm... i think the blockage on the intake for cng is very less.try to block 50-60% on the air intake of ur car on cng (install the blockage after the airfilter, place scotch tape over the pipe) and then check it.on cng, the engine needs very less air to get to optimum burning.too much air wud turn the mixture lean and the car will not accelerate properly.

this seems to be possible because u said when u got the airfilter cleaned, car wasnt accelerating properly.

for my car, when i buy a new airfilter (obviously it increases the air flow into the engine) , the engine starts to drop rpms, then i slightly adjust the cng idle speed and gas inlet settings and it get back to normal.

THanks man...i got the cng settings adjusted, now the pick and drive is much better than before (even before i got the filter clean)

Guys pls share ur city's average on CNG n petrol.

What should be the optimum Avg on CNG n petrol.

Mine city 2000 is doing 15km on petrol and 200km on CNG (8kgs)
(On highway, AC On).

Wow that's an awesome average. I have a 2002 model, it gives around 100km with AC in 7 kgs of gas. but my pick etc is totally awesome. Havnt calculated the petrol average yet.

Pick is absolutely fine.

You must check ur CNG setting, 100km in 7kgs is way too low for city.

The average i have mentioned is "in the city during rush hours" average. What is your off highway average ?

Well never checked in the city but I think it would be around 100-120. But highway is the right thing to evaluate Avg.
