Iridium plugs are not to be cleaned, the fine irdium tip gets damaged, reference ngk/denso.
But here everybody is seen doing this, using steel wire buffer.
If u still need to, use a cleaning solution that can dissolve the manganese deposits and other gunk. I use a cocktail mixture of carb cleaner, injector cleaner and few other stuff.

thats what I also read on NGK website that there is no need for cleaning, so after spraying do you wipe it off with cloth.

I have a honda city 2018 model and it’s recently completed 40k kms. Now according to the maintenance guide only the timing belts needs to be checked and breaks need to be serviced however honda would replace a lot of stuff and I would end up with a Hefty bill. Just wanted to know if there is any mechanic/ garage in Lahore who is ex honda mechanic and knows how to maintain the car properly since now maintaining a car from honda is too expensive as only the labour charges are way more than the market.

Do not let any mechanic to mess up with timing of the engine. Never let them touch anything except oil change as long as you feel some real problem in car. However get brake pads cleaned and checked from any good mechanic. Non branded mechanics charge 500 for brake service excluding parts.

Valve clearance also needs to be checked, but here no one follows the proper engine cool down procedure, temp below 35deg c before adjusting, let alone the seperate gap specs for inlet and exhaust.

It uses time chain, not belt, and doesnt need inspection at this mileage. You probably misread ac/water pump belt as timing belt

Thanks @anwarshahbazch and @nomi01 so should I just get the breaks service at 40k anything else that needs to be changed ? Considering my car is generally used on highways when break pad replacement is required?

You can visually check the pads to see if they need replacing. Honda service limit is when the pads are at 1.6mm thickness. Here people even get them changed when 4-5mm is left (new is about 10mm) because thats what the mechanic said. Not hard to see yourself.

Anyone attached lip spoiler to their city? What are the available options? Looking for good quality ABS ones and not fiber ones.

Get the front and rear brake pads checked. If needed change them with original HONDA accessories. Engine oil you should be changing as per mileage or age of the oil. Normally we change the engine oil at 5000km or after six months which ever comes first. Better to use fully synthetic original Honda oil. No need to mess up with anything else if the car is working properly.

personal opinion, this rear spoiler does not look good. but all the modulo conversion people add this. i have not seen one honda city with modulo/local kit without this spoiler added.
