I have water reduction problem in my city idsi 2005 from few weeks . There is some sound of runing water under dashboard . No engine heat up light shown up yet or any heat up issue . Could be leak or blocked heater core ? Kindly suggest some good mechanic in Islamabad Rawalpindi who can check and fix it .

either disconnect heater pipes from fire wall or get whole dashboard removed and repair core

Radiator checked and guy told there are 4 leaks in pipes .I decided to replace radiator so first tried a kabli in 9k but it was leaking too then bought a new Nd brand silver radiator in 6.5k it is Chinese but made for Thailand market as shop guy told . Let's see how it performs.
Please share your experience of radiator replacement in city idsi . I think OEM new aren't available now for city idsi models .

Any mechanic recommended to deal with the city 2006 cvt issues? The car shudders when it starts moving.. Lurches forward and at low speeds just feels weird..

Update. Rear engine foundation was broken. Driver side foundation had collapsed. Cleaned the throttle body and iac... The shuddering has become milder but is still there..

When was the CVT Fluid changed last time?

got the throttle body and iacv cleaned .. that seems to have fixed the check engine light .. they were incredibly dirty, with muddy grime covering the the TB butterfly ... possibly due to airfilter/airbox having some kind of leak

its not my car, its a relative's , so i cannot say for sure, but I think some years ago it went to a honda stealership for transmission issues, perhaps they changed the fluid etc. Right now, the fluid is not burnt, seems to be the right color, but when i touched the dipstick it left grey marks which i presume are from microscopic metallic particles.

I dont know if changing the fluid will make the problem worse because it sometimes can ... clean fluids make the transmission fail ..

Yes if fluid is not changed for a very very long time then new fluid can cause issues some times. Anyhow, in this case, adding fresh fluid and calibrating the CVT transmission afterwards might fix the issue.

Just did a diy flush of brake and clutch fluid after 6 years. And this is what it looks like
P.s did not feel any considerable difference in paddle feel or efficiency.

My honda city 2015 defogger is not working i went to honda showroom they said the lining of defogger melted from heat. Any solution for this???

Guys can anyone guide my how to adjust the clutch? I saw a nut bolt mechanism attached to the clutch, is it the mechanism to adjust the clutch or what.?

If anyone have experience of upgrading the original halogen bulbs 60/55 watt with 100/90 watt, please share the results. I think I need to install relays because original wires are very thin and hardly handle 60 watt current. Please do not recommend LEDs. I tried with after market LEDs and found very surprising results. Apparently they appear much more brighter than the original halogen bulbs. But when I checked with LUX METER at a distance of 100 feet. They show half of the light (320 I think)as compared to the original halogen bulbs (550). So decided to upgrade the halogens to a higher power.

Using 100watt bulbs would damage the reflector and lens in long term, if you want to upgrade, get osram upgraded version in same 55watt rating, they have slightly better lightoutput. Leds have less visibility since most of them have whitish blue light. The original stock bulbs are good enough for normal use, why do u need to upgrade. Chinese bulbs are usually the reason people arnt satisfied with light output

It seems to me still water is reducing after drives . Will pressure testing if coolant system help ? Anybody knows workshop in Islamabad Rawalpindi where they do pressure test ?
Any other suggestions ?

In the city driving they are good but on highways through is not long enough. On two way roads it get very difficult to keep the eye on road bumps. However OEM bulbs are good enough on Highways and moterway.
