Brother you are right. Its really my own thinking. The car looks fine to other people, but my eyes always go to the spot where it was hit. Maybe im just used to keeping scratchless cars. this is the only scratch/bump on the car. the rest is brand new still.

If i sell the car today, what should be the asking price.
(its 2017 model 1.5 aspire, only scratch mentioned here)
driven around 21k, maintained by honda (oil/filter/air filter changed before 5k only genuine honda)
complete history file maintaned, token paid. in my own name first owner. lahore number. michellin 195/65/15 tires. alloy rims navigation leather seats as standard for aspire.

I have 2018 Aspire MT, engine is now not as silent as it used to be. Plus engine belt noises are increasing. Also i have experienced a strange noise while engaging clutch, which disappears within a second. But is noticable.

Please anyone would guide how to increase the cushioning of Honda City front seats? These are extremely flat and tiring.

Disc pads wear vary with the driving style. Normally Manual car can retain front disk pads up to 50k however as your car is prosmatic and pad wear is faster in this model. I think you can hardly reach 30k with original pads. To get correct idea remove the wheels and inspect the thickness of pads. You can easily see the pad lining inside the calipers.

Looks like you are using diesel spray inside the engine bay during washing. Mobil oil, Petrol and diesel are organic solvents. They get diffused in rubbers and make them harder. Never use such things on car engine bay or underbody. Now your belts are got harder and DIY remedy can be use of WD40. for clutch there is a joint of cable lever and clutch lever on engine front side. Put a small piece of good quality grease between the moving levers. If you still had noise then its better to go to the dealership.

Never used diesel or oil during washing. Whenever required, (2 times since i bought the car) i get it sprayed by WD 40 with air spray after wash.
Will follow your advise on clutch issue.

guess what
i serviced my brakes at 22 k but tomorrow i feel bubbling while braking so got to know the pads are worn out and need tooling for plates and need new disc pads

i am not getting this thing in my mind how come at the millage of 27 k all the disc pads are worn out

one more thing i have driven 90 % on ring road

This thing is also strange to me. I had 28k on meter and disks of my car are still 50% but all the people I know having prosmatic change the pads below 30k. disk wear in auto CITY is very quick mechanics also do not have any idea about that. Other thing in HONDA CITY disk wear indicator did not work and you have to have an eye on disks and rear drums otherwise a big repair can be expected.

that bubbling affect is most likely brake pad deposits on the brake rotor surface, and that does happen with usage. It doesnt mean the pads are gone. Did you see yourself the condition of pads?

squeaky noise? Could be you need to add moly grease between the clutch slave piston and the clutch fork. This area is exposed to the elements so it can start to squeak over time.

Has anyone installed Kenda tyres, are they good for honda city? Im confused between kumho and kenda as they fall in my price range.

I think you can also find DUNLOP in the same price bracket. I am using them since four years good tyres.

Spent whole day looking for Akebono/nisshinbo brake pads for honda city in Faisalabad. Visited many famous parts store but couldn't find one. What took me to surprise is everyone is selling a copy of oem as oem blatantly. No one has knowledge of what 5w30 oil is. Sell rubbish copies of oil filter and air filters as oem. Makes me think what if even they don't know genuine vs fake and sell whatever being sold to them as genuine.
