I have same car in 2013 model. 60k on ODO. Dealership many time try to convince me for tuning but I always refuse politely. Last time I goes to a 3s shop for Oil change and they said that they will first check the car thoroughly and then change the oil. They said that checking after 60k is free but mandatory from the company. So I let them do that a senior mechanic took me for test drive said following things.
1- Brake weak he is ki.
My reply: I check the brake disks a week ago myself and they are almost 50%. I am driving and fixing cars since 1991. My first car was Toyota Mark I and I repaired and Maintained it many years myself. I am very much competent to change disk pads and drum of rear brakes. He got smile on his face.
2- Ok you know Pick of the car is not very good. I think we should check the TAPIT ADJUSTMENT, SPARK PLUGS and must clean the THROTTLE BODY.
My reply: I have an OBD scanner and until know it did not give any fault codes. I clean the throttle body myself last year and it was in very good condition and must not require cleaning now.
3- Ok them you must change the MTF (manual transmission fluid). Please do not refuse its not expensive.
My reply: Hum lets see.
After a test drive of 24 km we returned to the workshop he leaves the car immediately and ask the service to change the oil, filter and MTF. Then he turns to me and said the car is very well maintained and do not need tuning. Then he left with a smiling face.
