I am having an issue with my city idsi 2008 on unpaved road there is minor clunking noise from front suspension. Just install new linkers but still the noise is there.

For a 100k km driven Aspire 1.5, would there be a way to get the ride to be more comfy? I’m thinking suspension check and replacement. Would a specific version be softer like KYB vs Agriauto in Corolla.
Also seat cushioning and covers replacement with something softer.

Does anyone know what is the engine model that came with the 1.3 2004-2008 City? Is it L12A i-DSI?

i doubt its accurate, because I have seen 2 old posts where it was mentioned L12A and were considering to swap with L13A or L15A

The City in Pakistan was 1.3l iDSI not 1.2l. The codes L12 and L13 indicate engine capacity. There was never a City 1.2l in Pakistan till now. The posters you mention must have made some mistake or had already swapped a 1.2l and now going back to a 1.3l.

It was L12A for sure (as I have kept the car previously) and was 1246 cc. Honda launched this engine here in 1300 cc category because L13A was 1339 cc and it would have breached 1300 cc tax bracket. So they launched L12A in 1.3 models.

Faced same issue in my city 15 model when i had that car. Faced this issue in fifth year of ownership but didn’t go for any checkup and sold the car after few months.

I have recently installed kabuli engine in my car. Honda city 2008 auto with cvt gear.

It is L13A Japanese engine.
The mechanic has removed a part saying that "yeh v tec hy aur yeh ap ki gari mei function he nahi hy".

I have installed complete engine not half assembly. Just want to know whether that part should b removed or not ?
What will be its impact on overall performance and fuel average of car ?
Shall i get that part connected again ?

First of all, I think it is not VTEC. I have honda CITY and it did not have his part but VTEC still functions. The second thing it must not be removed because it is part of the engine.

Seems like some kind of a pulley or a hydraulic pump , if you have electronic power steering then this hydraulic pump would be unnecessary he is right its certainly not VTEC but it’s not useless either, it just might not be needed in your case!

It depends on the amount of dust in the air, but usually 10k kms is good if you're using a quality oiled air filter. If you want more peace of mind you can have it cleaned at 5,000 kms when you change your oil.

I went to a filter house for engine oil, oil filter and air & cabin filters change. The mechanic there after looking at air filter and applying pressure air to it said: sir ye 4-5 hazar kilometer mazeed nikaal jaye ga.
The current air filter is already at 13k km milage. Is it possible?
The car is driven mostly inside city.

Well, It's not uncommon for filters to last more than 10,000 kms. It depends on the conditions in which you live. If the air is mostly clean and dust free then I don't think even 15,000 kms should be a problem. I personally change it at 10,000 kms but that's mostly because they are not that much of an expense. If you don't feel any difference in the car's performance then it should be OK.
You won't actually damage your engine if you continue to run it. The worst that will happen is that your airflow will become restricted and fuel economy will suffer a little.
