I own both cars, a 2007 and a 2010 corolla and a 2014 city.
Corollas are comfy and have a better suited suspension for rural areas and back roads, on the other hand the downside is less control of the car and handling is not as good. City enjoys better handling due to its stiff suspension but that comes at the cost of comfort.
For city driving and for young people city is alright, but I never let my parents ride in that car for obvious reasons and prefer to have them use the Corollas.
It all trickles down to personal preference though, even though I'm 30, I still like the Corollas better they're way tougher and rugged than the city.
Opinions may differ but majority of the community will have similar opinion regarding the suspension of both cars, good luck!
