Honda City "hard suspension", over-exaggerated or indeed true?

City and civic have a price difference of more fhan 1 million pkr. No one would buy a city if price would have been same. People get city according to their budget. Similarly corolla variants also very a lot in price. City is good for it's value...but Corolla is rated best sedan for a reason.. comfort and durability

I m driving it myself and it absolutely a pleasure to drive.. i have kept almost every local assembled car as well. Not sure what is wrong with corolla. Worldwide no one blames it in comfy drive

Corolla xli and gli are underpowered cars they have a 1270 kg body fitted over an 84hp engine...Toyota knows this but they don't want to change it as if xli and gli get good engines who will buy altis and grande...moreover xli and gli are sold nowhere in the world except Pakistan...

Agreed..and i m talking about 1.8 one. 1.3 doesn't change the comfort factor..though..i myself has a 1.8 but i think gli and Altis will have same comfort.. only slight difference could be due to tyres. Pakistan is the only country with 1.3 corolla and 1.3 city as well:)

Manual main hi ok hai...auto main its the a total crap. 1.5 auto is good. May sb that's the reason city gm2 never came internationally with 1.3 engine

Strangely 1.3 gli behaves better than 1.3 auto city due to different torque at low rpms. Awam uses 1.3 gli to limits and even in our tough environment..it delivers.1.6 gives much better response. 1.8 is obviously top of the line and best but expensive as well like civic

Bro then ye apka issue hai.. the reality is Toyota is the top brand everywhere in world. U may like or dislike a brand on looks..or features..but in reliability part..even haters can't challenge a Toyota...a bitter but harsh reality..and imported Toyotas are much netter in quality than local ones ..still even local Corolla has proved..their dheetness ans reliability ..looks are subjective though.

Yaar first you come up with statistics sourced from your imagination like 80 percent of the awam that is jahil drives corolla, which includes myself. The remaining 20 percent of geniuses such as yourself like 'Elentra(s)' (its elantra btw, mastermind) and prefer to drive other cars, because they don't like the toyota brand and they think its logo looks like 'a shit' (literally translated to 'aik tatti'). Your opinions are always welcome and they mean a lot to all of us, but when smearing a car's/brand's reputation it would be better to come up with solid statistics rather than dragging us poor 'jaahil awaam' into this right? Recently bought an old model city 2007 Steermatic and even though I replaced front shocks they are still stiff. My previous corolla 99 was more comfortable and with a few hours drive my shoulders hurt never faced this in corolla and also cornering is surprisingly poor maybe bcoz of its weight that is similar to vitz. Still not fully convinced by this upgrade.

all of them.are hatchbacks i.e jazz. None are sedan who share city platform. Nor are this uncomfortable.

But people living in isb lahore, city is good czr for them.

But log to kehte hain k city ki stiff suspension hone ki waja se gaari ki grip and handling zyada hai as compared to corolla. Comfort ko aik side par Rakh dein, that's subjective.

Yar jis kay pass jo hoti wo best hoti hai..i have Alhamdulillah kept both cars and currently own a Corolla after city and before that it was a civic. City is the worst of all three in suspension..simple. its just an ok car ...bo special road grip as well. Corolla facelift is now slightly stiffer and has better handling...tyres etc matters as well.

O bhai koi so called “stiff” ni. Its harsh reality. Pta ni logo ko sach kehny me ar sunn’ny me tklif ku hti ha. Backbone ka takhta ho jata ha metal road ar unpaved road py. Otherwise isb/pindi k liye thk ha.
