Honda City Hard suspension

Hey Guys,

I just bought 1.5 honda city 2015 model, really desperate with the hard suspension.

Just to take your advice, If i will install the coilover, is it make the ride better? if yes, please also suggest me the company name and how much it would cost me.

U cant do anything..Honda made it this way. Tyres will make ride smoother but don't experiment with coilovers..money will be wasted

City 2019 owner here. Don’t waste your time with modifications to shocks etc. just get the softest tyres possible. That makes considerable difference. Get Yokohama , Michelin or Continental

Longer and softer rear coil overs will make your front suspension soft by diverting weight of car to front

Bhai car will have increased body roll. Makinhmg such changes can only cause accidents at the end. Atleast Honda knows better than any local mechanic.. suspension is according to the structure of car.

Hahah i see someone sensible here... I've done this & my car is soft... I own a Nissan b14...
Installed hard soft coil overs at back & running on oem front shocks... Car is giving me amazing grip while taking sharp corners... & balance+handling is amazing... Good coil overs never disappoint you... But sadly people here buy 8-12k coil overs & then they curse them everywhere kay coil over na lagao ye hojaega wo hojaega... Ive tried many brands... And sticking to coil overs...

Is sheeda ustaad sitting under pepaal tree making them?? Or some engineers are behind them???

Tires never get softer if switching to one brand to other... Tires basically have some properties you need to consider before buying...
Like weather +tread alphabet
... So study those properties before buying any sir.

Honda City’s original suspension is bound to be like this. Nothing you do will improve it. Only Quality Tyre’s would reduce road noise but the hard suspension you have to bare in This car on original suspension.
If you get Fully Adjustable Coilovers, you may get option to adjust your ride quality. But if you plan to install Coilovers, get them installed on all four sides for even ride quality.

you can make it better by changing springs and getting shock absorber adjusted

Start with basics.

Check the tire pressure. There is a label under the driver's side door. Fill them all up what it’s mentioned.
Get a good quality tire compressor or inflator. Don't trust fuel station ones as there’re quite inaccurate.
For safety reasons, do the wheel balance and alignment.
