I am newbie with HOnda city. I would like to know what is the cylinder order / spark plug firing sequence for the 8 plugs?
I previously had a Toyota with Distributor/single ignition coil and the sequence was 1-2-4-3. I want to know what it is for IDSI. Forgive me if I am using the wrong term. Thank you.
Idsi has no distributor n individual coils.8 plug thing mks its pretty complicated.wat prob r u facing?
I am just curious which plug fires first? Also, I am planning to check the individual coils to see if there is a bad coil. Thank you.
Not sure about firing order but one thing is for sure.90% of times the rear coils go weak (not the one in the front as you have shown)
If you're experiencing bad idling, missing and major/minor jerks while drive the car, you have a weak/damaged coil.
I've owned an iDSI for 10 years, 100% of the time the rear coils went bad. The front ones never gave up.
How to find out which coil has gone bad?
Easy way out is to change the set.in idsi it usually r the rear ones n people change all four.I saw mechanic checking coil strength in rather crude way. Pulling 1 by 1 out n checking spark strength or possible current leak (more visible in dark)
And the way of checking the power of spark was the naked eye or else?
