Hey everyone, i have city 2012 1.3 ivtec and it's done more than 350k+ kms. The car is robust all around. But recently it's been blue smoking. I think it got worse since i shifted to 20w-50 after a mechanic recommendation. It smokes on 10w-40. So i have to stay on 20w-50. On 20w-50 it only smokes if you go near the redline. Otherwise it doesn't. The fuel average is great. Around 15-17. I have used zic, total and kixx oils. Kixx is better than both but its a lot heavier on acceleration. Got the engine inspected by multiple mechanics and most of them say rings need to be changed. But all of them suggest to change the engine. I need suggestions on if I should change the engine? Keep it and overhaul? If overhaul then need recommendation of a good mechanic. Or if i should keep going with what i have? In the case should i stay with kixx or any other oil recommendations?
