I have honda city 2016 manual ..i feel like that its gear oil is less as the gear is not that smooth ..some time its take force for changing ..how can i check the level of gear oil ?? And which gear oil is best for 2016 manual honda city and what is the exactly quantity

You can use delo gold ultra 15w40 diesel engine oil as Manual Transmission oil in Honda City 2016.
Or you can use Honda Genuine MTF.
Dont use any other oil.
U will need 1.7l of oil at change almost.

If you dont know the history of gear oil change and your cars odo is above 40k km.
You should change the gear oil.
I am using delo gold ultra 15w40 for long time and donr have any issues in city 2014.
Honda manual Transmission is not same as other car transmission?

Yes Manual and automatic is different.
And if you have a auto transmission than you should go with honda Automatic transmission fluid.

No there is no way unless you go to a ramp and open the oil fill plug.
There should be a little drip of oil from the oil fill plug.
Otherwise there is no way to check Manual transmission fluid levels

Change the oil.
Filling the caltex delo gold 15w40 will cost you about 2000rs.
Thats not a big amount for the piece of mind

should change after every40k kms
no dipstick for level inspection
what about 128kkms service record

I bought the car a year ago ..its was 111k on odo and haven't change gear oil since then
.dont know about previous owner ..the gear changing wasn't smooth since i bought

1st and 2nd gears a but hard om honda city.
But its better to change gear oil.

Only use honda MTF for manual gear box. You'll thank me later. Don't save litte money for big loss ahead. 1.7 litre required. You'll need 2 bottles.
If driven 60k plus change it asap.
