Such issues are normal.
Which city you are from?
It seems the gasket/seal is leaked. And its easy fix. Any good mechanic can do it easily.
Need to open the drain bolt of gear oil and drain all the gear oil. If its new, then you can secure it in clean container to re-use it.
Open the coupling/chamber. Usually 12-14 bolts. Clean the matting surface. Apply Gasket or RTV and close the chamber.
Note:
a) When closing chamber, ask him to do it in ChrisCross pattern.
b) If you use gasket then you can drive the car right away. But you use RTV, then you need to give it 6-8 hours or best is to leave it there over night. And next morning pour the gear oil.
c) Never use any metallic scraper to clean the matting surface. Use only plastic scraper or similar.
d) When things are open, then inspect the rubber boots and items like ball joints, z-links, connecting rods, etc. and replace them too.
e) BEFORE VISITING WORKSHOP FOR THIS WORK, TOP UP THE GEAR OIL AND DRIVE IT FOR A WEEK AT-LEAST. OBSERVE IF ITS FRONT AXELS ARE OK AND YOU DON’T HEAR ANY TICK TICK SOUND WHILE TURNING THE STEERING RIGHT/LEFT. OR YOU DON’T HAVE ANY VIBRATIONS IN STEERING WHEEL AT SLOW OR HIGHER SPEEDS. Make this observations and share it with mechanic. He will see if there is play in the axels then you might need to change them too.
f) Also need to observe if steering rack is fine or there are some marks of oil/grease there too. If yes, then need to address them as well.
Sharing you all these things because all these things are in the same area where mechanic will work and he can address these things too rather to bring you new surprise every after few days.
