HONDA City or Civic Under Million Car ( Fuel efficient )

I am new to this, I have heard alot of this forum that there are so many good people in here for sincere and honest advise.
Well i have Cultus prior to that i was driving mehran, But i think i need to go for change, Well I am looking to buy a Car Budget Range 9-11lac max, I am Confused what car should i buy, i am actually looking for ABS brakes, Power steering power windows, Automatic transmission is Cherrry on the TOP

MY MAIN PRIORITY WOULD BE FUEL EFFICIENCY I am going to drive Car in Islamabad City, No Long route.

Really i want to buy a buy a car which should be fuel efficient as i am looking to buy a car for going to the office and it is 95km total tour, In City each day,

Well my life is HELL now while searching for it, Like Honda CIVIC 1.6 or 1.8 or 1.5 Prosmatic or VTI oriel or EXI or Just VTI,

HONDA city like i-DSI or steermatic, or ARIA or VARIO, 1.3 or 1.5.

I have gone through all the threads but have not got enough knowledge, Is there any one who has experience with all of these car and can guide me,
I would highly appreciate if some one can give me some good suggestion which car should i buy and Which Model Which is in my budget that will be highly appreciated,

Since you want a fuel efficient car, city seems to be your option. You may find a 2006,2007 city in 10-11 lac. Consumption is pretty good i. e, 15km/l. You could also find a well maintained Civic in this price, but it's fuel consumption may not meet your needs i. e, 11-12km/l.

Sir a neat genuine condition civic 2006 onward cost well over 1 milliom anyday .. at least in Lahore..but since u need fuel efficiency nothing comes close to city..try finding a steermatic as it has both efficiency and character. Although a neat steermatic will also be around 1.1 million at least.

Thank you so much. Sir Steermatic vs Vario? Which is Fuel efficient? I heard steermatic has some trouble.and issues. And not a fuel efficient car. Moreover what about neat and clean IDSI? what mileahe should be consider car is well maintained? Like used car what mileage should i go for under 80k 100k or what is the best total mileage should i look for? Plesse advise?

Bhai as far as used is concerned..i would sag get the one available in best condition. A neat idsi vario is better than roughly kept steermatic. But..if condition is same..then steermatic is miles ahead. There was no issue .. basically steermatic was way advanced for all local market when it was launched in 2006. In Pakistan..mechanics disown anything out of their understanding. Steermatic has better power to wait ratio and it was with VTEC engine instead of 8 plugs idsi which just gives better mileage. Idsi vario eith5 people is a pain .if u want to accelerate as per your will..when compared to steermatic. Both are great family cars and this model sells like hot cake.i myself sold a manal idsi 2008 total genuine..grey color for 1175k last year..this is more money than some can even get for a 2009 gm2 City:). Condition matters ..get the best and neat condition car you can find bro

100k-130k is nothing for a japanese engines of honda..toyota .unless cng was used or owner used to ignore timely oil changes ..coolant checks etc..keep in mind this model has cat.converter as well..so do take a test drive on open road upto 120-130 kmph at least.. else you won't be able to identify if the cat is choked or not...take car to motorway or ring road type area. Avoid CNG at all costs....rest is the body.if you can't identify paint yourself..u can opt for Pakwheels service and is worth the charges. This model has under paint rust issues specially at panels..wheel arches and near side mirrors..so a white car will be easiest for you to check..parts are cheap and readily avaiable but get the car as genuine as possible and of course least modified as well.

It was a cvt gear....no cng even if owner takes oath about drive.

This depends on you. I had a 2006 idsi manual which gave me around 18km/l with normal foot, while a friend's automatic city gave around 14km/l with heavy foot. I'd rather not go for the steermatic if I had "good fuel consumption" on my check list. It gives around 11km/l. Otherwise steermatic is a great pleasure to drive if CNG was not used and you are not concerned about the fuel consumption. Now coming back to Idsi manual vs automatic, manual is far ahead of automatic if used properly.

Steermatic was great on mileage because of better tech and better body to weight ratio...but of course less than idsi vario but vario was a donkey cart when compared to steermatic...manual was much better and responsive

Can you please give me details what is CAT Choke etc? How it can be identified.

Catalytic converter gets clogged overtime but in Pakistan reduced petrol quality does this early. Car will not go over 100 if its choked with time. So in that case u need to have it cleaned ..removal is also an option but not recommended..so cleaning cost may be enforced on u once u buy the car. U won't feel the issue that mucbt till 100 kmph

Yes. The manual gives around 16-17 witn AC while the auto gives 14 with AC.

First..short list the apparently cleanest car in ur range and then ask pakwheels for car sure service. Dont forget a test drive over 120kmph...cat converter just hold car like brake after 100kmph and engine does really nothing even when u floor
