I need your guidance regarding issue in my car Honda City 2010 (AT). I purchased this car recently through Pakwheeels. For the first month it was running fine. Got its oil, oil filter, air filter changed from Honda I-10. They said transmission oil is fine and doesn't need replacement. Problem started when I traveled to Peshawar from Islamabad. It went fine on motorway and as I reached Peshawar, the car lost pick and power as I slowed down and then the engine shut down. I switched off the ignition and started it again and everything was back to normal. On my way back as I entered Motorway which is a bit steep in starting the car again lost power and came to complete halt. I again switched off and back on, put the gear in D and it would just crawl a bit and then would shut down. I called the motorway helpline and it took an hour for their mobile workshop to reach me. By that time the engine cooled down and when they checked it was running fine. They asked me to change the plugs on next exit and get the fuel pump/filter checked. I changed the plugs on next exit and started my Journey back. The car was running ok. at 100 or 120 speed I felt like the gear was constantly shifting between 4th n 5th. Somehow I reached Islamabad and went to Enercon G10 for tuning. They cleaned the Primary Cat Con did some tuning and told me to get the fuel filter changed. Now the car used to run fine in the mornings, and as weather gets hot, It starts the same problem. Finally I took it to Honda Classic I-10. They test drove it but it was running fine. I drove it for 25 Kms and nothing happened. In the afternoon as drove it for 10 min and it started the same problem. Loss of pick n power, delayed shifting, took it to honda they again drove and faced the problem. Finally they told me that following needs to be done:
Fuel Tank cleaning ---- 10,000
Injectors cleaning---------3500
Fuel Filter Replacement--9000
Iridium plugs----------------9000
Secondary cat cleaning--6000
Total -------------------------37,500
Took the car to auto market in I-10 changed the fuel pump (filter was fine as told by mechanic) changed the plugs to NGK. Got the throttle body serviced and injectors were cleaned. The car still feels heavy. and I havent felt much of a change.
Can someone guide me or recommend some good mechanic in Rwp/Isb??
