Is this the right time to book a new City? What is the safer option among Corolla and City?

By having an understanding that you are asking for investment purposes.....Toyota Corolla GLi is always a better option. also it is getting obsoleted so it will fetch good premium. The new Vios will also gives you a better profit as being Toyota .... City is getting tricky as the price difference of 1.3 and 1.5 is almost negligible keeping in view the advance income tax now becomes the same that is Rs. 50,000/-. and at the moment 1.5 city is being delivered in 1 month where as 1.3 is 5 to 6 months making city a tricky investment as per my thinking.

I have to keep the car for three to four years atleast. So, safer stands for less de valuation of car in terms of new model or resale.

Altis 1.6 or City 1.5 fully loaded, both are equally safe as per resale value.

If you will go with GLI from Toyota Corolla then you will save money in term of resale, but if you go up like Altis 1.6 then when you will go to market to resale your car after 3 years you will not get that response like you will have GLI so if you are going to Altis 1.6 i will prefer to go with City full option.
Simple is that GLI is more resale value then City but City is more resale value then Altis 1.6....

you forget that with a gli or a city, it would be a just ok 3 years, whereas with a 1.6, they would be fun filled ones
