This city is fast for sure. However had a 99 city EX which was stock and I used to max it at 170K. 3rd gear 140K on the tip of red. Was pretty fast. After that I bought a 04 BNew VTi manual whose speedometer was much much more quick than the meter I saw in this VDO. Something is a miss here. A stock civic's performance cannot be this bad?

i think it was this city.plus i think the civic was modified only externally.like big wheel n body kit etc.so that means extra weight,plus city was also modified so that might hav made the civic loose the race...

I knoe one thing that Civic ReBorn is modified! Ive seen it racing @ the track and as far as this City is concerned It Cannot smoke a Civic no matter how huge its intake is!
Its too damn slow till a 180.

^yeah i think ur right.i hav seen civic accelerating frm 100km/h to 190km/h.nd thats much faster then this city.i think the civic guy wasnt racing at all.he was just going wid the city guy,cruising along.

1 thing more,if they had been racing,the camera wud hav been showing the civic,instead of the speedo,i think the city guy was testing the top speed,just a thought,might b im wrong.

hahahah at the rate this city goes to 170 the civic can go pass 200. This city has stopped accelarating at 170 and i have taken my civic to 200+ twice . This is a bulshit video.

These guys are not racing just cruising.

well one things for certain and that is a civic doesnt cruise at 180. so im pretty sure he was pushing. and 180 isnt a piece of cake for a civic. it takes ages to reach 180.

Im sure Civic was not racing..new civic is not a joke...it goes 0-140 in no time ...i appreciate the efforts done on city but what i think city can only beat cars in its category or max 1.5l.
