Honda Civic 1.8 2013 vs Toyota Corolla 1.3 2015? (Automatic)

Hi,

Need help in making a decision on which car to purchase
My budget is around 20 and I’m having a hard time to choose between corolla or civic
Fuel average-
Reliability-
Resale-
Spare parts-
Also anything I need to know before purchasing either one of these cars and is the PakWheels inspection accurate

Fuel Average : Corolla will be around 12. Civic will be around 8-11
Reliability : New cars dont have much issues but Corolla is more rugged
Resale : The more expensive the car lesser the resale, so corolla will have better resale
Spare Parts : Honda parts have always been slightly expensive since civic is an upper bracket car as compared to Gli

And how about PakWheels inspection can I rely on that as I don’t know much about cars

No comparison you cant compare apple with oranges, 1.8 vs 1.3?

Civic all the way, its interior is way ahead than Corolla specially Gli.

Civic with cruise do 15-15.5 km/l @130 km/h with cruise control as it has 5 speed gearbox as compared to Gli with 4 speed pathetic transmission.

Gli don't have cruise, climate control etc.

Go for the Civic. The overall comfort, particularly on longer routes is better on it. Plus that 1.8 makes a lot of difference in the driving experience as well.

Go for Civic eyes closed.
There is absolutely no comparison between a 2015 GLi and a 2013 Civic.

Civic drives better. Looks better
Has better fuel economy than Gli auto.
And has a lot of goodies.

Spare parts are of same price as of Corolla

The only downside is suspension which gives up a little sooner than a Corolla.
