Honda Civic 2000-2002 Engine Info Required

Title says it all. I need to know which engine used to come in these models, what was the engine series and what is the capacity of it in terms of fuel and what is the power of that engine. Actually, I need a swap so I am considering this EFI engine, which is easily available in the market.

Detailed responses will be appreciated. thanks.

Also, I think it is bolt-on on Honda Civic 1995 mountings. Is it ?

Honda Civic came in different versions in those years, 1.6 and 1.5. Though you can find 1.7 and 1.8 version engines of the same model in Bilal Ganj.

Kindly be specific which engine are you referring to, which car do you want to swap it in, and what are your priorities - topspeed, accelaration, economy or reliability.

For engine swaping in 1995 civic you need to put D16y6 / D15B SOHC vtec engine in ur car. Price would be

Engine: 50000 PKR
Fitting: 5000 PKR
Vtec / ECU Wirring: 10000 PKR

Total cost: 65000 PKR

They are available in Bilal gunj, but still needs a bit alteration to fit in.

D16W9 engines comes in 2001 - 2005 civic but I dont think you would be able to fit them in ur car as it needs much alteration and so not recommended at least by me.

oh yes, i got it. I also don't want that.

I think I am talking about the same engine which is available in 1600 cc in EFI and i think it is the engine of 97-01 civics.

Also, I want to put it in Civic 85. Civic 85 already has engine swapped from its original to a 95 City engine (d13b). The modification done for the 95 city engine is very well done i think and it can be used for the engines of 97-01 civic engines bolt on i think.

I think the engine i want to put in is d16y6.
