Honda Fort is rated Pakistan's no. 1 in terms of sales. their market share is huge. when a franchise/outlet delivers the most sales/profits then some perks and privileges are also rendered by the parent company. the franchise must have good terms with Honda Atlas too ,as in such a scenario the parent company cannot afford to lose such clientele. Maybe this is the reason they are allowed n given such an incentive which isnt given to other dealerships. hope that answers the query to some extent.

i hope too but apparantly this amounts to a complete new inventory of engine and its parts. Corolla definitely has an edge in this aspect.as 1.6 is great balance between power n fuel econo especially in an area where we are obsessed with MPGs.reminds of the Indian add of the luxury cruise ship Tank n airship adds of Maruti Suzuki where after the complete briefing some1 out of the crowd says KITNA DETTI HAE!.LOLZZZ i too would prefer a 1.6 over a 1'8 due to rising costs of living. The 1.6 Altis is hence very popular due to the same very reason. Would have been a very wise decision indeed if they had taken it. But sadly doesnt seem so. If the IVTEC is launched as 1.6 you would see sales of the IVTEC surpassing that of Oriel which is currently vice versa where the Oriel Prosmatec is the No.1 seller in the 8th gen.

Pakistani assemblers have never been competing each other. Why? Because all assemblers are booked for more cars they can deliver. More demand, less supply= no competition = poor quality = less features
