My Civic 2017 (10th gen.) has developed an AC problem 3 years after purchase. The gas has leaked. I showed to an AC walla in F10 markaz Islamabad. He charged the gas, and soon after smell of gas / oil was felt inside the cabin. Probability the leakage is from the Evaporator behind glove box. The AC walla told me that AC problem is pretty common with this car. Cost of repairs will be substantial if Evaporator has to be replaced. Can anyone recommend a good AC walla (I live in F11) and share if they had similar problem.
This is a common worldwide problem in this Civic.

Which Evaporator to install as replacement? Available choices are: (1) Honda Thailand @ 15000 (life 3 years). (2) Third party Chinese @6000. (3) Kabuli.

Thailand non Honda. It was heavier and more solid as compared to genuine part.

Did you try to go to honda for a claim? Since its a commom Issue?I am having the same issue, my car is out of warranty now, its 2018 car, but I would like to go to honda and see what I can do.
