Honda Civic 2017 Ground clearance

I am planning to buy civic (for family car). Is it a family car?most people say that its not its better to go for toyota corolla. Second most imp about its ground clearance. I have heard that this new model has better ground clearance and suspensions are also good.

bt generally speaking its ground clearance is better when we compared it with JPMkt (imported) cars like prius? Also, i heard its ground clearance is 6" which more than the previous civic models?

It has a hard ride, not exactly a family car if you travel off paved roads. A corolla is a better family car in all prospects.
As for ground clearance, its better than a prius, but not more than the previous civic
