Honda Civic 2019 model keyless entry is disabled

Hi, I left the car with valet parking, and took the key with me, the civic's key less feature is turned off and I do not know how to turn it back on. Door sensors and push button is not working, I am only able to turn on the car after touching the keyfob with the push start button. Not sure how to turn it back on.

Replace the battery in the keyfob.

I already replaced it, keyfob is working fine, I am able to lock/unlock car from a long distance also. The sensor for door handles and start/push button is not working keyless, like I have to tap the keyfob to start button and than it starts.

Your keyfob is faulty. When you touch the door handle the car sends a "question" to your key - the key answers it by sending the unlock command sequence.

Same way like your push button, the antenna in the car sends a "handshake" to the key and key also handshakes the car and readies for startup.

Your failure is quite common in vehicles with this, did you accidentally drop the key or strike it (like on edge of railing) while it was in your pocket?

Had the same issue, only left side door unlock via tap/touch was working. Checked the BCM, the 3 antennas, everything seems to be working fine. Then we did what I.T is famous for, which is:
"Have you tried to turn it off and on again?"
Just unplug and plugged again all the cables/adapters mainly from master switch, and everything was working. How it worked? have no freaking idea, but its been 6 months now and working perfectly fine.

the door capacitance sensors can go faulty if they are flooded. But if all doors stop working then its usually a "singled out fault"

Can this also happens if someone tries to do the "forget" key and then do the "re-learning"? Because the shop I went, that's what they do as a first after checking the antennas. They tried to do the re-learning, both the fobs were behaving the same. I.e., only left door tap/touch was working. During this process, they were very active on following the actions on the tab they had, which was connected to OBD port and said, a slight miss and we'll loose the BCM.

Anyways, the OP can check with the different key fob, if that's working..

Why would you need to forget a relearn the same key?

And when doing the key learn job on the scan tool, the cars main battery needs to be connected to a stable power supply that can maintain it at above 12.6v under load with engine off.

The key learning thing is, as in case if someone wanted to create a duplicate key?

If your locksmith is making duplicates

Find a new locksmith.

I am from Karachi, and I think a reset is the thing that I can try, and I think that might fix it. I just took the key with me when I went to some place and car was unlocked the whole time. The next time that I started it did this thing.

Master switch is the fuse box in the car bonnet right? did you do it yourself or went to a mechanic.

Its the switch which controls the windows, door lock/unlock etc.
BTW, i would still recommend to check with another fob you might have at home. If still not working then head over to Honda, that's the safest bet.
