It can be repaired even if its broken into pieces.

Paint charges depends on the quality you want, from 1500 to 3000.

It will take about 4 liters. You can drain about 70% coolant from radiator and need to open a bolt next to oil filter to take out coolant from the block.

It will not fix decreasing water issue, you need to find the root cause.

Either gasket or one of the hoses has a small leak maybe size of pinhole.

When you open radiator cap, is there any pressure in radiator or reservoir????

Mine is in Silver/Grey color whatever that color is

Last time i got it checked mechanic said no issue in radiator cap etc
There was no pressure when cap opened
So do you recommend getting Coolant in the radiator or i should continue with water. if i cant extract 100% water how will i have 50 50 ratio of Coolant and water in radiator. I just thought maybe water boils and evaporates from somewhere Coolant may stop the issue

no...it does not evaporate anywhere.....radiator fan turns on at 96C, it don't let water boil, which boils at 100C ...coolant will have increased boiling temp depending on quality and ratio....just add 2 liters of coolant concentrate and you will be ok.

system taking air from somewhere....which results in building pressure in the system and loss of water ....

I am sure if you go on motorway at 140 km...you will have increased water loss....within short time....

try to check the entire system to find source of problem....

i travel 70KM daily. 35KM to University and back
Never traveled on Motorway. I will try to find if any leak
Mechanic was unable to find any leaks. btw your car doesn't decrease Coolant even little despite how much KMs you drive?

do check radiator closely. there might be very little leak over there

Get check the radiator from a good radiator service technician. Check all hoses for small leakage especially from throttle body small hoses near clamps. Check coolant reservoir bottle for any leakage. After adding coolant only use distilled water/battery water for radiator coolant make up. Clean outside of radiator with high pressure water to remove clogging of fins which will help the radiator to work efficiently. Also check that both radiator fans work simultaneously with full speed. For removing all water from cooling system, use air blower to push remaining water from radiator by detaching inlet and outlet hoses. If your car is high mileage then try to change all the heater, throttle body and radiator inlet/outlet hoses as these start to leak one by one thus create problem. no...my car does not reduce water even in months....infact no car will reduce any water if there is no leakage...

Radiator coolant usage will not provide u any relief. A leak in the cooling sys should b identified first otherwise no matter what the coolant /water will decrease. For rectification, I'd suggest add a cheap green color coolant in the sys. And thoroughly clean the engine bay. After that drive the car and then see from where the leakage is taking place. The colored coolant will b visible in the clean engine bay. But b sure that the engine bay is thoroughly degreased and washed so that any minor leaks r easily identified

At times my car while in 1st or 2nd gear dies at about 2000 rpm and if i press clutch it gets fine. It started happening in last month and it happens almost once or twice in a week only. Cleared an error code of intake air temperature high volts but problem is still there.

Whether u like it or not, a perfect paint job requires time as the paint needs time to cure. So handing over the car would b required. But do search for quality painter first, saving few bucks won't be of any good if the look of the car is compromised

Salam, Guys, my 7th Gen EXi needs complete suspension job (front and rear both) i.e. replacement of shocks etc. so please can anyone have idea how much expense wod it be in Rawalpindi / Isb (kabli parts). Wat shod i get kabli or new?

Better buy new shocks of kyb. Kabli shocks are not good most of the times unless you are very lucky to find clean ones.

if going for kabli...make sure they are from civic with thin strut and thin spring....as same shock came in stationwagon which has thicker rod and spring....even they sell crv shocks as civic's which are rock hard and lifts car about 2 inches

secondly never buy shocks with springs as a set....better open them and buy after checking the shocks....with spring you cannot test it....

should be around 10k for a set of 4

Thre is a guy on facebook who sells shocks and coilovers. Contact him. He seems to be good as he works for some modification workshop aswell in pindi. Dnt exactly rmmbr his exact name but thre is Niazi in his name. And for kabli, keep ur pockets open as 7th gen is not happy with kabli ones. I hav changed almost 3 sets in last 1 year and fourth one would be coming soon in a months time lol

Well honestly i am questioning myself aswell that y m i being an idiot again. First, dnt hav 20-25k to spare just for front shocks when i can get kabli for 6500 max with fitting and secondly i will get shocks from peshawar this time as i will be going thre for around 2 months so want to try my luck from thre and a colleague of mine has given me surety that i will not repent my decision as he has known contacts thre in shauba. Its going to be the last set then 7th gen will be sold so lets hope and pray for the best
