So its not the filters making that hissing sound. Maybe that's how the ac system of 7th is...

Will need to buy these filters as well.

Salam everyone! I recently purchased Honda Civic 2004 VTI Prosmatec. The problem is that, I am confused which engine oil to use. There is no evidence regarding the current engine oil. The head assembly is changed. Current odo reading is 150000. Kindly suggest which engine oil should be used.

since the car has been run so far without filters so evaporator will be dirty which will impact the blow of fan also. I suggest go for a full ac service from abu-bakar Universal car AC G8 islamabad. Get the filters installed as well.

Another import thing is that when you get evaporator serviced, there is a thin lining of foam which acts as a sealant when our local mechanics use pressure water to clean it which removes the thin layer. Make sure that he installs a new foam layer after service otherwise outside air will come inside even if car is set to recirculate.

If hissing sound is constant, then it can be due to dirty evaporator or blower fan. If it comes only when AC is started, then its due to expansion valve (doesn't need changing if cooling is fine)

Hissing is not very obvious, but its there. Comes with or without ac. Cooling is good right now but its only 30 degrees here in khi. Will get ac serviced when proper summers kick in.

Yep that's usually when the hissing comes, but thats normally heard when blower speed is slow and the sound comes more from underdash. In my case its coming when blower speed is higher and comes from the vents. Its not really a bother but i am only concerned whether air is being restricted anywhere.

Better to get gas checked of your car. Might be low on gas or maybe ac needs servicing.

I haven't got it fixed yet but it started after i got my ac serviced so my thought is that when we got ac serviced, the thin already old lining of foam washed away. I assume this lining acts as sealant so have to be reapplied. I will get it fixed before summers so will let you know

Salam, hoping everyone would be fine. Dear any guidance for tyre size for Civic EXi 2005? meaning I have current tyre size of 205/60/15, now going to change tyres and in Market 195/65/15 is available commonly not 195/60/15.

So is it ok with 195/65/15? or its not good?

Salam, guys does any body know authorized dealer of continental tyres in Rawalpindi Saddar? One shopkeeper in Saddar is offering Continental 195/65/15 2017 made in UK for Rs.31,000/-. I wonder if he is not making fool?
