I have vti oriel civic prosmatic 05, stock engine on petrol. since few weeks, i have been facing this issue of rpm instability. Problem is car feels heavy on A.C and without it, okish. Not very good but just fine. When i press the accelerator lightly while on ac, the rpm responds proportionally but the sooner i let my foot off the pedal the rpm drops down to around 350. A second later it stabilizes. While turning on ac or other electrical loads the rpm dont rise automatically as per spec. However, when cold starting the car, the high idle is maintained as per spec. So that rules out the IACV i guess. Lastly, upon cold starting, the cranking is smooth and starts instantly. However, when warm, cranking is sluggish and it feels as if battery is dying or the starter is bad. fuel average is just fine, around 9.5-10.
Maintenance already performed is as follows.
1. Throttle body cleaned, IACV checked and reported perfectly fine. Butterfly doesnt have play either
2. TPS reading is ok
3. MAP is 18mmhg at idle
4. Plugs and air filter replaced
5. coils look ok
6. valves adjusted
7. Injectors cleaned and found neat and clean
8. head was recently opened for a valve job
9. timing + ac belts changed
Considering, engine lag + cranking issue + rpm unstable, can it be CKP or MAP or Knock sensor not working well? Your help is requested.
