Saw the 2005 oriel rims in chaah sultan. The set was not 100% clean but 80-85% small scuffs etc. I didnt ask the price but can surely share the shops name and guys number if u want

Have a second opinion from Aqash, buying kabli will again be prone to same problems. I am sorry can't guide you much on this as in these 12 years, i just had to change seals once.
Btw i think EPS can also be installed.

he is a senior mechanic at honda i10, he has his own shop in i10 where he works after 6 and on weekends. He changed the seals of my PSP

Browsed through the latest posts, felt like sharing some info

1. For a healthy engine, there is no need to go beyond 5W30 wrt the car under discussion here. Whats important is that you are sure about the authenticity of the stuff you are getting
2. When I lived in Islamabad Baig autos was by far the most trustworthy and reliable shop to fetch parts from, the owner was such a great person. If he is still operating it I doubt things would go bad, just comparing prices that also in case of auto parts leaves a lot of variables uncatered for
3. How was the transmission oil replaced with only 3 litres of fluid ? it means much of the old one is still running in there
4. Hydraulic PS in our local hondas are a pain area, and thanks to our reliance on either cheap new parts or older taken off kabli engines its always a test and run situation given that HPS already has many probable failure points.That is why I didn't think twice before throwing it away and putting in a bolt on EPS from a JDM nose cut. The engine bay is cleaner now and reduced load on engine thanks to no belt for the PS pump
5. For vehicles driven over 100K kms, have you checked the width of brake rotors as they are also replaceable parts ? Mine is originally driven 110K and the rear rotors had gone down to 0.7 mm while the minimum width mentioned for normal operation was 0.8mm. It doesn't matter which brake pads are being used, a rotors which has completed its useful life would hamper the actual outcome
6. For the shocks part, the best case is to get new original shocks (better burn your money then trying any cheaper alternative when it comes to new), springs (they have a finite life i.e. number of jumps) and fresh mountings. Just changing the front set with these would cost enough to consider why u didnt buy a new city. The other best case it to trace kabli ones from complete cuts and keep trying till one set behaves optimally, the mountings would in most cases be hard so would need new ones

Rest for later. Btw I don't see anyone pouring in a bottle of a good injector cleaner in these old cars, its a good idea to do so but only a good brand like liquimoly or 3m etc would work

Get RIMS changed asap. I have never bought RIMs but i would say check tyre/Rim shops opposite Mehran Autos in Saddar. Regarding Front shocks i got them changed for 7500Rs Pair from Gawalmandi. If you need to know the exact address tell me and i will let you know. I also care about my car alot but as per my opinion spending on new shocks will be wasting money. These new shocks are not OEM but of other companies like KnB etc they will surely work better but if you use these shocks and get the other work done like steering assembly work and mechanic charges, and also don't forget about the bushes. And when changing Power Steering assembly Power steering fluid and mechanic charges kharcha will shoot up.. Kabli are cheaper and works good incase of suspension. For cheaper parts yes OEM are always better

Same issue i had before i just swapped the steering assembly for 7-8k Rs (Kabli) and its been working great since about 3 months. I doubt repairing will last long.

I also need to pour coolant using boiled water now..
but i was reading somewhere use Honda only. and some people were saying if you are using Plain water since years and shift to Coolant. Pouring coolant then may eat up the rust and cause leak in the radiator. I was confused so did not used coolant since car was running on Plain water since i don't know since when..
Does coolant decrease at same level as compared to plain water? I feel some decrease in water after about 300 KM drive!

i am facing a little issue and want your opinion please,

whenever i drive the car and stop at the signal and move the gear to N (its a manual car) the rpm shoots down first stays stable are 1500 (for 2 sec) then drop down to 500 and come back up to 900 and stays stable there, it happens occasionally. but today in the morning at signal it drop down so low today the car stalled. this happened first time ever.

complete tuning was done by 3S honda 3 weeks back.

Kabli pump is for 4.5 - 6k depending upon ur bargain from saddar. I have already changed the pump once due to hideous noises it was making but it is again busted and making noises at idle so improvising for now
