Please elaborate what do you mean by "settle for a colder spark plug" what is the difference between BKR5E and BKR6E and why would latter perform better on CNG
The numeral in the plug's variant like BKR5E or BKR6E shows the heat rating of the NGK spark plug. As per the recommendation of NGK, for CNG fuel we need colder spark plugs, meaning honda recommends BKR5E so we can settle with BKR6E or equivalent
I use petrol and cng both. So shall i go for 6E? will it be bad for using on petrol?
@others, any idea what is recommended spark plug gap for our civic? and i heard for cng usage it is a little more (or less?)? Aqash did not check gap saying that these are new and gap adjustment is not needed but i read that even with new plugs, one must check gap.
As per manual, 1.1mm is the recommended gap. Normally the plugs 5E or 6E available locally are -11 variants so both are factory preset at 1.1mm. Anyhow, rechecking the gap is not a big deal and takes less than a minute.
If you're using cng and petrol both, i'd say use the 6E since cng is already underpowered and hotter plug might even reduce the power output, slight bit though.

avoid using cng in this vehicle it would kill your car slowly. ... i dont have not so gud experience with cng in this car in longer run .
