So u bought 5 tyres in total or 4? May i knw the manufacturing date of the tyres? And exi came with a 14inch rim from factory dont rmmbr the exact profile but it came with wheel cups

I bought four tyres, all are of october 2016... rest details are shared above. I gave him 4 old tyres (1 with side wall damage) and kept one (5th tyre) in better condition as spare tyre.

please compare your braking distance with non 3S maintained i.e. locally workshop maintained/serviced car to enlighten us about the brakes-functioning if equipped with all genuine items

This ain't a bad deal if all parts / lubricants used were genuine and of top notch quality and as required for these processes e.g. copper anti seize used for brake components, and the technicians doing all the above jobs really knowing their craft well.

Our khwahishaat for getting the best products and services at ridiculously low / unreasonable prices leads to the scams we face by the people in this field. The only concern should be if one actually is getting all genuine stuff and the technicians are really qualified enough.

Last time when i was using Non-OEM japanese brake pads i was not satisfied
1) When car was stopped at slopes specially and hand brake was applied the rear tyres were not fully gripped by the brakes it seemed like they were slipping and there was a dug dug noise
2) I cannot say much about braking distance but i am mentally satisfied with them. The thing is i experienced slipping of car when old brake pads were used 20k KM and they were also destroying the brake discs so i planned to go with OEM brake pads. My tyres are almost finished now but still braking is quite good and i did not experienced slipping

Yup i thought braking are most important things in car and they should be OEM rest things we can still get Non OEM parts and they wont cause much issues..

Well there are issues which though are not evident in the short run, wrong lubrication and bad quality parts would result in mechanical failures later which is something pretty bad for an area like braking.

Low quality discs would show their true colors when repetitive braking is required e.g. going downhill, in most cases they almost fail leading to people throwing buckets of water on them to cool down (amazing tootkas to make things worse). What amazes me is the number of genius Pakistanis who keep installing fat tires on their hilariously under powered passenger cars (including the "saporats" car civic) for some imagined "grip improvement" while they use the worst quality parts for the actual brakes and want the job done from the cheapest place even if they use ketchup to lubricate the system and have never heard of something as basic as flushing the fluid as routine maintenance.

I am back with another problem. Back in the days my car was consuming oil, we are talking about exi 05 here. I thought it was because of weak piston rings most mechanics also guessed the same and suggested to let it run until it dies. Last night i was reading reasons why my car is consuming oil, i came to know about valve seals, the main symptom was that if you cold start car you can see bluish white smoke for few seconds, Yes i see that in my car even smell oil burning. So now i think my cars valve seals are bad which should be fixed, i also read about weak pistons rings that take dipstick out of engine while car is running if yiu see steam coming out it is weak piston rings. Now guys suggest me what should I do , should i go and get compression test done first and if it is positive I should go for valve seals? Right. If not what should be done.

Lastly please mention all costs including parts and labour also a trusted shop/mechanic in isb for compression test and mechanical work, i recetly shifted from pindi so dont know any mechanics here.

my radiator shows bubbles and milky mix yet mr.mechanic is unwilling to replace gasket since he says chalao jab tak chaltee hai so ia m forced to use 20w50 which has made my vti a fuel guzzler max 9-9.5 avg on normal drive without ac
