I went to shell f6 today. Got 5w30 from drum, leppon air filter and genuine oil filter (according to them)
Then i went to melody to buy nissin japan rear brake pads from Bismillah autos but you said its price is 2400 however he gave me pads for 1700 (same cost aqash quoted earlier). He showed me four types of pads, genuine pads were 4300 i guess, then there was a local pad for 200 rupees, and nissin japan and another japanese brand which was i guess 1200.
Some people say original nissin comes with lube but there wasn't any and shopkeeper said that lube comes with genuine only.
Here is the price breakdown
Hx7 oil: 2200 for 3.2L
air filter leppon: 650
oil filter genuine: 750
Brake pads: 1700
Btw exact same leppon filter was available at bismillah autos for 500rs and f6 guy gave me for 650 and even though thai language was written on oil filter but it was packed in simple white daba with a barcode tag so i think parts at f6 pump are expensive and may not be 100% genuine
I am confused if i got original nissin or its a copy.... for 1700 the pads looks fine but its build quality is not as impressive to be called japanese.
About 5w30 oil, i think some times i am hearing noise from engine... May be it was always there and i am worried for using thin oil so har choti moti awaz sunai de rahi hai. lets see if it drops oil level or noise persists or increases... I hope it was not a bad decision.
I also went to enercon afterwards to have a look at CO CO2 and HC values and all were normal for both petrol and CNG. Pick of car is great after getting new air filter... The cheap 300 wala filter that aqash put in last month was shi*
