Got plugs cleaned they were really rusty almost a thick layer of rust over all plugs any indication/symptom
surprisingly the motor oil has suddenly reduced aswell to middle of two dots

AoA everyone, this morning i noticed an issue while driving my 2005 (Eagle Eye) Prosmatec EXi i.e. while applying brakes and from 60 km/hr to 40 km/hr the steering wheels shakes - like wobbles. What could be the possible reason, issue is specific to braking only - i havent visited my mechanic yet but as per google issue is with braking system i.e. brake rotors n brake clippers. Can someone please advise, what it actually could be and what i should get fix?

Brake rotors. Check the thickness of rotor with a vernier caliper. If its above operating range get them tooled. If not get new ones.

Thank you for reply, are you sure we need to get rotors tooled - wouldnt it affect the required thickness of it? What could be the total cost if i get them tooled? and what if i get kabli ones?

vibration due to uneven rotors should be in brake pedal, not steering wheel, don't you think?

samething happened to me once there was no trace of leakage car never heated and every mechanic told me its gaskit. car used to decrease half a jug after every 80km drive. turned out to be uper tank of radiator was leaked and water was used to leak only with engine running and used to evaporate with in nano seconds without a trace. i replaced uper radiator tank and problem solved ALHAMDULILLAH

If they are above the minimum operating thickness there is no harm in getting them tooled.

Kabli are already used and most have completed their life. I would suggest go for new.

Not necessarily. Uneven rotors cause the wheels to vibrate when brakes are applied especially at high speeds thus resulting in vibrations in the steering wheel.

Usually the difference is of only millimeters but that is sufficient to cause vibrations at high speeds without giving any noticeable feel in the brake pedal.

P.S please keep in mind an even more common reason of this behavior is worn out brake pads. Check for them first before opening the rotors.

Also while opening the rotors do not let the idiot hammer them from the other side without putting a wooden block on the surface.

Also tell him not to hammer like a monkey, rather give gentle taps from all angles around the rotor. Generally that is all what is required.

If the idiot insists "sir hamara roz ka kaam hai", walk away and never see him again.

Why use gentle taps? Should use Hydraulic Press to release rotor from hub. And using non genuine brake pads also causes severe wear of rotor and glazzing of pad material on rotor which in the end causes vibration in steering wheels. Vibration in break pedal is not present in cars with 4 wheel disc break, it mostly occurs in cars with rear drums. Pedal pulsation or vibration is due to out of round brake drums.

Have you been using low quality brake pads?
I suspect the uneven of the brake discs. As per my info outside tooling is not using proper measures..
Due to brake is very important, at least for me, so i spent 27k getting new brake pads+tooling+brake oil change i am satisfied till now.

can puller be used? The used to pull out bearings from a pulley

Idealy a puller is used but it can be removed by gently hammering over a wooden block on the surface.

What mechanics do is hit the surface with hammer causing dents.

Hammering madly can also damage wheel hub and also damage the seat of wheel bearings. Hydraulic press should be used to put wheel bearings and also to seaprate bearings or rotor from hub.

Last time i installed NISSIN brake pads Rs. 2500 (for a front pair), I think i should visit my mechanic for exact issue.

The recently installed nissin brake pads in rear are making some weird sound randomly while moving. It is coming from left side wheel. Once it came when i was making a sharp right turn with brake pressed, and yesterday same sound again came when i was moving on bumps on straight road without brake pressed. What could be the reason?

The sound is as if something is rubbing against something and it comes for approx 2 seconds. I am afraid of a brake jam

One a side note, the grip of my previous pads was much stronger, i think those pads were honda copy

Either brake pads are the worst copy or discs have gone uneven, I think you should use OEM and get rid of this head ache. OEM are 14k total but atleast you wont have to visit mechanic everyday for brake issues..

Yes i cannot take risk on brakes as i daily travel on express-way and god forbid a wheel/brake jam at 80-100 will be deadly
