The mechanic cleaned the throttle body, serviced the injectors, plugs and fuel filter but I m still getting poor mileage. I m thinking of changing the air filter and draining the current oil n put 5w30 from some reliable shop.

it is normal for water to reduce a little. Coolant level does not decreases

And i used a little samad bond to attach it back

what if the block is corroded

Reply to this please. In addition, the car has started decreasing a lot of water, like half a jug after few hundred kilometers. Can it be gasket? How to check? and I've heard that car will continue to heat up if gasket is changed, don't know why. Please shed some light on it too.

PS. The needle isn't going above half but water is decreasing in the bottle

This is an Aluminum block so it will not rust like an Iron block. But rust from other parts will deposit in the water lines within the block reducing their diameter thus decreasing the cooling of the block leading to a warped/cracked/damaged block which is beyond repair.

As long long as you are not sure that the system is leak free you cannot be sure whether water reduction is due to weak gasket. First make sure the hoses, radiator etc are in No leak condition. If it reduces water even then its the gasket.

Also it depends what kind of bubbles you are seeing coming out if bubbles are coming one after the other in a tandem its the gasket. If they come and then stop then come after a few seconds its Air in the system.

Now please remove pipings, venturi from air filter box, air is restricted for cng installation, once you remove venturi you will feel real diffetence in acceleration and car will not struggle to cross 140 on motorway. all electrical wires must be removed and igntion coils should be directly connected with harness connectors.

Make sure to plug hole in air filter box or you can get a new air filter box else it will suck lot of dust.

if you live in islamabad goto f-10 and look for sunny bhai, he is the poshish guy in one of the basement shops, its called door ""GATTA'' in local language, i got mine dors posshished from him of the same leather as the seat covers.

Giving your old battery you would have to pay 3000-3500 depending on company and ah of battery

Get phoenix dry battery it was 500 more than the normal ags one same rating.

already bought Pheonix 65 cng wet battery for 5000/- + 420 /- cost of electrolyte made from AGS deionised water
he was offering me a used fujika dry 50-l for 3000
but i refrain from taking risks also i was unsure if the 50L dry battery has sufficient amps for my vti since the battery was previously used on an coure
