Honda Civic 8th Gen or Vitz 3rd Gen?

Assalam o Alikum Pakwheelers,
As I posted earlier that I'm looking up for a car for my personal use in Islamabad. I'm a student and approximately my yearly use is around less than 15K kms. I need a trouble free car for myself. I was looking up for a Vitz 2014 (Facelift) in the price range of 1.55M. Later, my friends suggested me to go for a Sedan instead and as I'm also not a big fan of hatchbacks. Now, I don't really like the new Honda City because in my price range only manual city could be purchased and I need an automatic car. So I'm looking up for a 2011-12 Honda Civic Oriel Prosmatic. My question is that can I get a clean Oriel P/T Isb registred with less than 50K on ODO in the price range of 1.55M? Secondly is that a wise decision for a student to purchase that car?
Note: I have to use that car for a year or a little more. Kindly suggest.

No Problem I sold my 11 Fully loaded & Total Genuine for 1.5 million Last year. 1.7-19 million is price of 9th gen.

Civic seems better but it would take a considerable sum in terms of fuel. Civic looks better and also much much faster. Make no mistake the drive of vitz is also brilliant, braking, grip and comfort wise it's incredible, let's you down in term of acceleration. If fuel and comfort does not bother you go for civic.

My university is around 3 kms from my house that is what my mostly use is, other than that I've to go to Rawalpindi on weekends from Islamabad & two tours to Lahore in an year. So fuel is not an issue.
Secondly, you mentioned comfort here so is Vitz more comfortable from Civic?

Civic does have stiff suspension, but not that stiff that you have backpain after every drive. it is stiff in a good way. and for a student like you, it will be perfect. i am about 40 years old and i have owned 8th gen for four years and i have never delt uncomfortable even on a 5hrs journey

I would imagine so, I have been told that civic has a harder suspension setup, it's not uncomfortable as such but on rough roads it is, that's what i heard. Haven't had a chance to drive one so can't say much. Vitz is very comfortable, in city use it's drive is not so bad. That said it feels underpowered at times

Thank you for the response Sir! Can I get a neat and clean Oriel P/T 2012 in around maximum 1.55M? which has done less than 50K kms.

I can understand! Suspension is stiff so that the car has a good road grip.

i sold my prosmatec oriel 2008 (with rock mars system) a while ago for about 1.25M. it was a 2008 with 80k kms. i suggest you look on pakwheels for a manual oriel which you can find for a good price because i got this car for 16.5M with about 50k on the clock. if you can find one without navigation and a manual, go for it.

I would suggest that if you can drive manual then go for that and also watch How to Buy a used car series by ChrisFix on youtube. it will help you a lot.
