Honda OEM reverse cam grip reuse for after market cam

Hey all. I have a oem navigation installed with reverse cam in my 2011 civic. The camera has gone bad and now i am trying to replace it. I want to use the OEM grip of bad camera with new camera i bought which has universal red yellow. Posting pics belowm I understand i need yellow and red. What about black??? If i dont connect black wire and leave it open it wont cause shirt circuit right???? Is the black wire earth???. [image] [image] [image] [image]

bro you can find the new cam in f10 along with grip for installation in reborn.

incase u wanna use old grip i believe still some relevant guy in f10 can help u change that.

Yes f10 guys asking 3000 for original grip wala cam. I am a cheapskate so want to install this with my old oem grip myself. Lol

Can't get my passenger side window up. Like it goes 1/4 and then stops and the worst part is that I'm in Murree right now.

P.S; This happens to me after every car wash that the window gets stuck and after like 10 minutes of driving and trying it rolls up. But now its stuck really damn bad. And beacuse of this I've to sleep in the back seat.

there is a simple rule of a stuck power window is ask someone to pull the window switch upwards, you go to the door and open it put you right hand of right side of the glass and left hand on the left side of the glass and pull it up slowly and it shall surely close.

this is probably a faulty motor, after washes faulty motors stop working and then at times start working on a warm day.

ok i have done it. never damaged the original female OEM port and modified the bad camera male port with extra yellow and red cables which come with a new after market cam.

OEM FEMALE PORT> OEM MALE PORT>YELLOW & RED After market female ports

and then the after market plug&play camera installed. case closed camera costed me 650 rs, original OEM fitting inside number plate light

I saw quite a few in F-10 market, prices vary from 15k to 18k. they are exactly the same as this one you posted here.

salam, i want to install multemedia steering with cruise control on my newly bought civic vti oriel prosmatec kindly guide me which part i need so i can buy them from pindi or lahore

If its Oriel model then you dont need clock spring the current one is applicable.
For multimedia buttons you just need the buttons and some wiring.
For cruise control you will need a lot of items. Either you will need to modify the cluster and add lights behind the cruise control icon cutting in the meter and wire it all out or change the meter completely. Then you will need the cruise control buttons. A latch (dont know what its called) which works with the brake pedal so as soon as you press the brake it turns off the cruise and finally wiring to the ECU

hi saad, having said that. can you also tellme if multimedia buttons need alot of ripping and trimming of wire? i have a manual so dont really need a cruise control but really interested in multimedia buttons.

No previous wires need to be cut or trimmed only new ones are added.
The process goes like this. The multimedia buttons have a proper grip which directly fits onto the spiral cable with no alteration or anything just a 2 second work.
The addition of wires come from behind the spiral cable. Spiral cable has pins on both sides. On the back sides the pins for the multimedia will be empty so you will check which pins are of multi media (check on which pins on the front the multi media button plug was connected ) then you have to add wires from the back side of the spiral cable directly to the LCD. All chinese LCD will work directly but for brands like Kenwood and Pioneer they work on different voltage for each key so you will need resistors i think to set voltage of each key different and then to LCD

That means i have a vti oriel which already comes with clock spring and oem navigation is installed in mine. Having all of this its just another 2 wires added all the way to the back of LCD. And you mentioned any chinese that means the oem navigation wont need resistors/transistors.
