So here is the fuse box of 8th gen.
I read and learnt over the internet for sill plates connection this top right port is used to power them.

Am i correct here or otherwise? Please share wise words because i dont want to chop my wiring for sill plates.

All Greek to me. Sills have no wiring. Why the wiring needed to be chopped off and for what??

My auto reborn 2011 D light is blinking but runs fine, out of nowhere i noticed D light blinks no matter which gear i choose it keeps blinking while the light of other gear is still ON i turn the engine off and start back on and blinking disappears on idle as long as i don't start driving it and when i drive it blinks.total mileage is 72399 kms and i tried rebooting computer also i opened the headlight for cleaning about a week ago and changed my CAT converter about a month ago.Is this problem related with electrical or mechanical dept. Are you sure car is 72k driven? Are you first owner of car?

Usually this happens when a honda auto transmission is dying. What you can do is connect obd2 scanner and check the codes. Could be a malfunctioning sensor.

It turns out the sensor was bad below the car and got it fixed check the image of error code

This repair was done from Auto Shop,Bahria Town, Islamabad
Sensor + New Connector cost: Rs.3000
Labor: Rs.1000

Took him half hour to replace it but error is gone now and i was worried about transmission going bad.

I also went to motor clean for new cat converter cost was Rs.25000+ labor Rs.2000
I also went to Honda stealership for estimate at I-10/3 Honda Classic they told me it will cost Rs.75000 + Rs.5000 Labor

Also i wanted to get a back bumper with actual twin exhaust mod,do you know where can i find the right person in Islamabad to do this job?Also check out the universal diffuser picture which was installed by F-10 auto decoration guy but i don't think it matches with the car and looks stupid

The diffuser look pathetic and way beyond stupid. You kight want to get rid of it lol.

Why are you looking for a new cat? Why not get the old pne cleaned if not altered/broken.

I you dont want to spend a fortune on new cat goto sultan ka khu market in pindi and buy one of your liking will cost you a fraction of the amount which dealership is asking for you.

Hello waleed. Glad you got it fixed. You may after couple of days goto the same shop and ask them to connect obd scanner and check if the code comes up again if not you are good to go.

Recent torrential rain has made high mileage cars sensors go cooockooo these days. Quite alot of people posted the same problem on pw lately.

Abidoon bhai i am using 20w50 havoline oil for my civic 2008 model but i want to change this oil as this is high viscosity oil kindly recommend

How.much is your car driven and for how long have you been using 20w50. This oil.will.kill your car engine.

Recommended oil is 5w30 for this car. You can try it see if it doesnt burn much otherwise max you can goto is 10w40

20w/50 is not a good oil for your engine. Immediately switch over to Zic 5w/30 fully synthetic engine oil. Thick oil may wear out your ring & pistons quickly and also it doesn't clean and cool engine parts effectively. Try to first flush your engine by draining old oil and then pour 2 liter diesel into engine and start engine and let it run on idle speed for 10 minutes. In case you are skeptical then mix 1 liter each of diesel and cheap engine oil. Then drain diesel and replace oil filter and put new oil. Repeat this procedure twice a year.

never use any such ustad recommended procedure of engine flushing.

there are specialized liquids manufactured solely for this purpose, use them in case flushing is required. ideally a quick oil change will itself clean the engine.

Nothing will happen. I am doing this method for last many year with both my high mileage cars Suzuki mehran 2010 and Honda civic exi 2006 and their engines are going very well. Last month I did my civic tuning and the mechanic amazed to see the cleanliness under my engine tappet cover. I told him the truth and he praised my loving for my car. I won't force anyone. Its totally a personnel liking. I am senior chemical engineer and studied the lubrication and cleaning properties of diesel and did experiments in fuel testing labs and found no adverse effects if its being used carefully. You can even reduced engine flush time up to 3 minutes only.

I saw a car engine blew itself when a person did the same procedure to flush it. piston came out of the block. so its not recommended.
