I am looking to buy a 09 oriel prosmatic from a friend. Overall the car looks very clean and only has 90K KM on the odometer.

One thing I have a concern with is that the car has a CNG kit installed, which means that it has been run on CNG in the past. My main concern here is that the engine may not be in good conditions as I have heard that CNG can wear out the engine overtime, just like bad fuel can.

Given that the car has run for 90K KM already, what timely maintenance is to be done around this mark?
Should I look out for any specific issues in the car or any other 8th gen civic at all when buying?

all fluids change, spark plugs inspection... throttle body clean,, fuel filter change, check for loose bushings suspension components inspection, check if he is using water or coolant in radiator... also engine mountings and lower mount knwn as khich in local terms ... and power steering pump leak is the main problem in this car... engine mount usually lasts for 60k km so it might be replaced

WHy does the car vibrates for a second when i turn the high beams on or even when i pull the windows up.
P.S: Vibration only occurs when the car is idling. I’ve also noticed a slight shiver in the rpm whenever i do these things.

As far as I know, turning on electrical accessories such as windows, mirrors, AC, map lights, etc causes a momentary load increase on alternator (rpms adjust basically). Happens in my car as well.

check all ground connections of car. clean negative terminal aswell followed by greasing them. i had same problem i cleaned all ground terminals in the engine bay and no vibration or load on the lights at all. (Ofcourse got a new battery too)

Same here, changed battery and got all connections cleaned. As per 3S geniuses, alternator seems OK.

On cold start, unsual noises are coming from cat like a mesh is striking against metal but when the car is at normal temperature the noise only comes when the pedal is released at 4000 to 6000 rpm
What this behaviour shows ?

some internal breakage. get the cat checked.

The cat was broken i removed it
Should i install new one immediately or can delay its installation

replace with a new one asap. ur milage will go down drastically and also the pick of the car.

I was at signal when all the smoke starting to come out from radiator and car started over heating so i parked the car and when i opened the bonnet coolant was sprayed all over the front bumper including radiator and front end and on fans as well then i poured water and it was dripping below the car, what could be an issue of this leak and how can i fix it?

Wasalam. Only use green packing Honda oem oil grade 5w30 and live peacefully. This totachi is just another gimmick being sold by entertainment on wheels guy on facebook when i asked him few technical questions in comments he blocked me.

I would only recommend 5w30 honda oil in green packing avaikable from all honda dealership its patent honda blend by chevron australia and cheap too 3179 rupees.

I get 13-14km/l local avg with ac inside islamabad local driving
