To improve throttle response. Use liqui moly fuel injector cleaner. I also have a manual reborn and sometimes it also makes me feel like dead pedal in frst gear. I poured the additive and it gave me significant results.

Steering turning sound
I started experiencing it 3 days back.
I am unable to diagnose yet as on standing position i checked by turing wheels no sounds were produced.

Please allow me to suggest about oils here
Prev i was using Honda 5-30 fully synthetic with odo at 125 my engine performace was super responcive but i noticed my car is drastically reducing oil when summer season came.
I steply shifted to LM 10-40 MOS-2 semi synthetic.
Performace was superb but oil was still reducing not that much but half dip stick after 3500
Then i had to go with LM 20-50 non synthetic now
Now oil reduxtion but the viscosity ia more inhave to compromise on little bit of engine response.

But i believ u might have experienced bad power window motor of driver side.
Mine glass wets after serviced and when i slide my mirror down it goes slow and comes up moist or some time wet.
2nd the motor goes very poor in rainy weather.
Can u suggest me how to tackle
Should i replace the weather shield of door or what?

Aoa, Abidoon sir i had a Suzuki Mehran and just bought a 2011 Honda Civic VTI Oriel Prosmatic, forgive me my English is bad i wanted to ask you that in mehran i use to take care of Water in radiator and washer fluid etc but it is complicated in this car would you be kind enough to please provide some basic infos as you know mehran is a teen daba car with no technical details but this car requires special attention to make it run smoothly.

1. Should i put water in radiator and it's assisting bottle?
2. Where is the Washer filling cap?
3. So far i don't see any issue but keeping it's parts serviced and regular check could help making it run better. My car is 67K driven till this date so when should i get my car for basic maintenance or in more detailed like fuel tank cleaning engine mount check A/c service etc?
4. I also wanted to ask if we can install Triptronic in HC Reborn, is it possible.

I live in ISB but i can come to Lahore for better service thrice in a year i guess.

yes you can check and top up water in the radiator and its connected bottle.

Mein camera lay k chaudhary autos walay k pass gya tha mintgomery road pay... un k electrician ne koi ghanta lagaya but us say install ni hwa... or in the end us ne mje yeh keh dia k is mein install ni how sakta... r ussi mein ac duct ka open close switch b harab how gya r dashboard b kharak gya hai... baki genuine lcd he lagi hai jo reborn mein aati hai or genuine back cam b

1 - It is best to not use any water at all or very little. The entire radiator and connected cooling system should be filled with a good quality coolant. Drain the entire system if it contains water only. Water is bad for the radiator and will cause rust. Other fluids in this car include brake fluid and power steering fluid which should not go below minimum levels indicated on their respective bottles on the top left of the engine bay.

2 - Left side blue cap is for wiper washer.

3 - At 80,000 KM you can take it for a complete checkup Honda 3S dealership which may involve replacing various items (but not limited to the following)

Brake Shoes
Rotor Servicing
A/C Fan Motor inspection Repair/Replacement
Bearings/Hubs inspection
Belts inspection/replacement
All car fluids including coolant, gear oil, engine oil, transmission fluid, power steering fluid.
All types of filters including A/C Filter, Air Filter, Fuel Filter, Oil Filter
CAT inspection, oxygen sensor inspection. You should also get your complete exhaust system cleaned as carbon/MMT deposits build up over time.
Suspension inspection and repair including small suspension parts and shocks/mounts etc
Engine Mount inspection and replacement as needed (engine mount of the reborn is especially weak)
Engine tuning/Tappet adjustments, spark plug replacement
Tyre/Rim check

4 - As mentioned already the Prosmatec transmission in the Reborn is very difficult to replace. You will have to find a compatible CVT transmission from a JDM car which is suitable for the R18A engine and then you can activate the paddle shifters. Manual to prosmatec transmission swap is easier to do.

Every car has some sort of issue which develop over time. They are not present in a brand new car.
Most of the 8th GEN Civics in Pakistan have now gone over 100,000 KM.
All of the issues I mentioned develop over time and you can easily remedy them.

yes they will sell individual parts. So if you want you can buy a single shock or mount. If they don't have it immediately they will order for you and you can get it in a few days. With suspension components I would advise always go brand new.

I have an Oriel Prosmatec 2008 model with 132,000 Km on odo. It has been with me since June this year, I am facing two issues, I hope you or any senior member can help me with those

1. My car is dripping engine oil when its cold, as the engine warms to optimum temp, the dripping stops. I think it is engine oil as it is brown in color and I doubt the smell is also of the same. Plus I previously thought that it was power steering fluid for which I replaced a small pipe from power steering fluid bottlr, but the dripping still continues. I am using Honda 5w30 SM engine oil since the car is in my use, don't have any previous history of the car just a verbal statement from the previous owner's driver that they used to pour Total Quartz Gold in it. I need a help in this regard that what should I do and what part(s) I need to check upon.

2. The ABS light just pops on and after a while it goes away, this has been happening since last week or so but I have never been able to fully understand the whole criteria of light popping on and off. I mean its so random that it has no set pattern, at this moment it is off but it might come one when I drive my car a little bit and before I can reach Honda 3s, it might just turn off. I want somebody to check my car when it is on by itself so that he can actually diagnose the right cause instead of just doing some guesswork. Please also help me in this regard.

(NOTE: I am quite noob in these things so I would like you to give me as detailed reply/response as possible)

For #1. Check vtec selenoid.

For #2. Was facing the same issue but only after a car wash. Trouble code must be stored in the system and a scan can help read the error code history to diagnose the issue.

What remedy did you get for the ABS light, yes I remember I had a complete car wash on last sunday and since then it is turning on and off without any set pattern.

Can you please elaborate a bit more that what should I check with Vtec solenoid?

Vtec is mounted on the backside of engine (driver side) and usually leaks due to flattened/hardened rubber gasket. A visual inspection can tell if it's leaking. Since you mentioned changing steering oil pipe, i assumed that the leakage is around that area.

I sold the car without getting the ABS issue fixed. Mostly probably its a bad or loose connector.

which city are u in?

simple inspection of the under carriage of the engine bay will tell that from where the oil is dripping and can be fixed accordingly.

for ABS, probably a sensor in the wheel is either faulty (which will cause ABS to not work) or very dirty and needs cleaning.

Any reasonable mechanic should b able to identify and fix both. if u r in isb let me know i can tell u about a reasonable mechanic.
