Honda civic 8th Generation Reborn Transmission issue

Hi Pakwheelers,

I have Honda Civic 8th Generation which I am using for the past 2 years. Its a full option Automatic varient. The issue that I am facing is in its tranmission I recently changed its tranmission fluid with original Honda ATF. Every morning when I start the car the gear is unable to switch from 1st to 2nd and if it does then a sudden jerk occur and the RPM goes from 2000RPM to 3000 or even 4000 RPM.

I went to mechanic and after the diagnostic report it shows an error p0796 i:e pressure control solenoid C is stuck and the mechanic suggests to change the whole transmission.

Please let me know any other possible solution, DIY or any good transmission repair mechanic in Lahore.

From the looks of it, it can be the solenoid C wiring, the solenoid C itself or something stuck inside solenoid C.

replacing a transmission due to this error seems far fetched unless the transmission is already in a very bad condition

What do you suggest brother should I clean the solenoid first or do you know some good mechanics who has expertise in addressing this issue?
