Dear @SPANO(Ehtesham) and other loving friends i need your comments.

I need your help and opinion. in fact i m leaving for abroad and thinking to put an auto transmission in my Civic 94 because it will be easy to drive for my wife and mother as they r not good on manual. currently my car has stock d15 carby engine. Engine is running fine but eating some oil so i m also thinking to swap it, in this context i have two options.

1. swap it with the stock engine with complete auto transmission gearbox.
2. swap it with d15b vtec efi with auto transmission.
3. don't swap the engine and leave it as it is caz abhee tang nahi kar rahah just
   change the transmission from manual to auto.
   Plz guide me to efficient and cost effective solution.

One more thing which i would like to share with u is that In fact the real solution in my mind to buy a charade Charade 88(Anda) and restore it with 4efe auto transmission for my mother and wife but still searching caz prices r too much increased and for restoring i think its not a good idea to buy an expensive charade.

What i suggest you is that you go for a complete engine swap with an Auto.
Reason: Your current engine is also burning oil along. Its you who keeps a check of Oil level, but when you,ll be gone i dont think that the ladies would be checking the oil guage and randomly visiting oil shops for refills. Ultimately your car can end up with no oil at all. PLUS after the swap you will be tension free abroad that the ladies would not be facing any on-road breakdowns back here in Pak.

Sir, I would recommend not to have swaped engine car for your family as it will require a little extra care and maintenance considering that all swaps are not always 100% successful.

Still if you want, then get a complete swap (engine+transmission), not alone transmission. d15b vtec will be a good option.

ferio japnees model tha jo 1991 sa 1993 tak aya tha. 1995 is not ferio.
exi means 1500cc engin
vti means 1600cc engin

it will show you wrong RPM reading
if you real RPM is 4 it will show you 3 or may be even less than that

@spano. yes brother you are right..it was supposed to show error..as this is a 6cyl gauge cluster. but since i knew that...i got a dakota digital sgi-8 for it before i installed the gauge cluster. so right now its perfectly accurate.
