Honda Civic 95 or City 2001 with D15b

A.O.A guys. Hope you are all fine.

I wanted to ask which would be a good choice
Buying a Civic 95 model with D15b/ B16(How much would it cost)
or
I have a City 2001 full stock. Should I swap engine to my city or sell it and buy civic instead.
And should I go for D15B or B16(I don't know cost of B16)

Ps: I want a nice economical car having a nice sound and good acceleration.

there is a civic 95 with b18c being sold on the forums. Go for that if you can manage the owner's asking price (which is reasonable considering the costs involved).

Seems alright but you may need to verify the condition physically. Also, price seems relatively high for a simple d15b.

I have cancelled the plan for buying civic. Now will be modding my city. What should be the first thing I should get installed for performance increase? I will be getting a new air intake and a simple exhaust. What else should I go for and are these any good for my city? Which exhaust should I buy?Will it increase acceleration?

Ps. My budget is low to 12-14k maximum for now
