OEM Navigation of my Civic UG 2015 is dead. The car is used at home and is driven by driver.

Any solutions for this? Has anyone else faced similar problem?

What do you mean by dead? Does the light bar turn on with parking lights?

Try to keep pressing the disc eject button and turn the switch to ON, keep pressing the button for about 10 seconds. It will reset the unit if there is some software glitch. In my experience the unit does get stuck sometimes but normally on Music App only (Second generation version).

Can someone please recommend good tyres for the car. I am still using General tyres from factory. Car is at 33K mileage, but too much road noise and uncomfortable now.

I am looking for 195/65/15 but door foot panel has 205/65/15 written on it with 30 PSI. Why would Honda install a 195?

Anyway, please someone with long term experience with the 9th gen recommend tyres. Thanks.

Then turned the car off, but the screen was still illuminated and stuck.

To avoid battery drainage disconnected source. Now after reconnecting its not opening.... The greyish screen appears (which usually comes right before honda logo) but then jams... nothing on screen.

I've had the same problem with my 2013 Civic unit too. I took it to Honda Center Peshawar Road and they take out the navigation card and press a tiny white button behind it using a pen. It seems to reset it and the unit goes back to normal. Mine does get stuck sometimes and I do what the technician at Honda Centre did.

Your car is a 2015; try to get it replaced under warranty if you still have it.

+1 on the unit being a crap. I personally use it music only, and use google maps for navigation on my phone. Much faster and better.

Get an After Market unit. I am not sure about fitting of non-OEM units, but I am curious. I may change it too. A friend of mine had same issue on his 9th gen, he found a used second gen from market and replaced it. It also got stuck as on when car was off.

Mine has that clunk too on bumps sometimes. Goes away for a while after service.

Yeah it was mostly used for the cameras and some music. Its shit. My Grande's unit seems like heaven compared to this.

Then your best bet is to press that button when it happens. I keep a pen in my car, so I just push it in and it's fixed, but it's really annoying having to set everything correctly (time, music etc).

May be it's bricked. Either the firmware has gone corrupt or there is some hardware problem.

By default the unit is set to restart after 48H. Means if you don't start the car for two days, it will restart when you next start the car. But since you have tried to reset it too, it definitely indicate some problem with firmware. It's called boot loop. You are seeing honda logo and then it doesn't do anything after that. May be someone can help you reinstall the ROM.

You have better luck contacting trackworld. Mine was giving problems 2 years ago and I traced some person in blue area. He called me at honda centre and replaced the unit, no questions asked. Means there is a way to correct any unit, he might have also reinstalled my original unit to perfect working condition later, but who cares. Mine is working good since then.

I don't think it's the same clunk, that comes from wheel but what I am talking about is a strange metal stretch sound comes from underneath the tub. Might be some bushing.

I do sometimes have oil sprayed under the car when serviced but not everytime.

Have you checked the wheel arch underside cover? My 2007 Civic Hybrid had the same noise that you're mentioning and it was the cover bumping inside the fender.

Yes. That's the sound. Like when you go over a large speed bump at an angle, there is a 'krinng' sound.

If There is play in tire rod ends it causes clunk on bumpy roads.
Pressing machine is used to adjust the gap

How can i connect the steering mounted audio controls to the HU ?
There are just 2 wites coming out of the HU wiring harness
