Sorry to say but Tracking World is not helpful at all.
The system at my Civic (Aug 2014) has become very slow, I mean I ha e to wait for a complete 60-90 seconds after starting the car to get the navigation pane on.
The rear camera takes around 20-30 seconds more to respond.
Called Tracking world and they told me to get the navigation change as the software before 2015 is slow and can't be updated. I asked them about trade off and they said no to it. Weird ppl there.

Go for an after market system. I have the second gen system, but I don't use it other that music and radio. Camera take around 0.5 second on mine. Have you tried resetting it, may be @Spano can help as he has been playing around with system for quite some time.

I have a 2013 Civic VTI Oriel M/T and was in the same situation just 3 years ago. Honestly, I regret buying the Civic. Build quality is shit. You'll hear weird noises whenever you go over a bump and the armrest makes the most horrid creaking noise when you put your arm on it. The brakes aren't as good as my 2007 Civic hybrid (which is 11 years old now with 193k on the odometer) and it has more road noise than my 1995 Civic (which is 23 years old and has 420k kms on the odometer). A relative of mine bought a 2012 Prius the week after I bought my 9th Gen and I've never heard him complain. A friend of mine owns an Aqua and it also feels much better than my Civic even though the Aqua is essentially a Vitz. I've driven different Priuses on multiple occasions and always found it to be very comfortable (especially if you get a UK model with the powered and heated seats).

The Prius is a better car; rides smooth, excellent fuel economy, lots of features, and God forbid if an accident happens, you'll have 6 airbags to keep you safe. The 9th Gen has only two and no other safety feature to go along with them. I get 9km/l in my Civic (despite it being a manual) which is about half of what a Prius or carefully driven 2016 Corolla Altis Grande will get you. An automatic transmission will do the same if not less. Parts and spares for both the cars cost almost the same.

In the end, it boils down to preferences. Some people like owning a Civic (just for the sake of it) and some don't. Do test drive both cars and compare them accordingly. Listening to other people's opinion will just confuse you since everyone has a different preference.

Parts k issue ka dont worry at all mil jatay hain ab easily. Prius is better in all aspects except ground clearance. Uspe guzara karain and enjoy that prius

I bought Civic 9th gen. couple of months ago. Drove it for than 5000 kms. I dont like its exterior & interior however it is more likeable now. Best & worst attributes are fuel economy (equal to Corolla Altis 1.6 Cruisetronic SR), features (compared to my previous cars Corolla 10th gen 1.8 & 1.6 full option) & shaska & sluggish pickup (compared to 1.8 cc cars), poor quality & expensive maintenance (CAT alone cost me 36000 Rs).
If you want a local car then buy Civic otherwise Pruis is better overall.

I have kept both parallel. Both have their own plus points.

Pros of Civic:
Less boring and slightly younger feel to drive while Prius overall feels a boring to drive car somehow. I like the shape of Civic and Prius body style is something I never liked. Cheaper parts of Civic. If anything goes wrong it doesn’t cost you an arm and a length. Depriciation is there but much less than Prius

Pros of Prius:
Economical as ____, extremely comfortable, amazing AC performance, solid build quality.

The worst things of a Prius are depriciation and a non tolerable flaw is road clearance. The depriciation alone will be much more than the fuel you saved. It will love to kiss bumps and breakers happily unless you put suspension spacers which are not safe as they can break and also they ruin the drive.

Lately I am hearing many many cases of 3rd Gen batteries needing replacement as well so further expense apart from depriciation and loss which was already more than saving fuel.

I have the Prius still but if at all I have to pick out of the 2 I will sacrifice the JDM quality, comfort and depriciation and get a Civic instead.

NOTE: JDM Prius fans have all the right to disagree. I have only expressed my opinion

PS: try looking into getting a Grande as well bro, soft suspension than Civic and less maintainence issues

Best of luck. Try getting a car with Honda maintained service history because that also gives a proof of authentic mileage along with proper maintainence
