Pardon my ignorance but my I-Mid doest show me average speed ???, Is it because my civic doesn't have Navigation or I am missing any setting in I-Mid ?

If it is because of Navigation then there must be some link between I-mid and Navi Unit, I can post ref picture if required

Bhai jan .go.into IMid setting menu ..there u will have the option of either showing Range or average speed

Someone needs to find out how to get Reverse Cam to show up in the IMID display. That could save many potential buyers from getting the rip-off NAV just to back up the car

There is a DIY online on 9th gen civic forum, but it is a challenge for a new guy. Opening the dashboard o_O.

I wanted to know if anyone here has gone through the process of extending the warrenty of their civic?
I applied for the extended warranty from honda classic on 18-03-2014. I still haven't received the book yet.
I called them and they said that we have checked with the company, they haven't generated the book yet.
The honda official said it comes in 20 or so days but its been over a month now. Last i talked with him, he said mahena der mahena lag jata hai.
i also talked with honda atlas customer care but they told me to check with the dealership where I have applied
can anyone please tell me if this is normal or is there some issue I should be concerned about
also if anyone knows someone in honda atlas who might give me info as to why is there so much delay
i would really appreciate it

I opted for it while booking my car in Feb-2014 and got Extended warranty Booklet last Month ( April) ,In total after 6 weeks.
Got My car in 3.5 weeks Though...... So I think its normal...... Keep pushing your dealer though...

Got my civic's 5000kms maintenance done from honda classic isb. The odo reading is 3065 but as three months time is up, I went ahead with it. Btw I change all my car's engine oil at 3k kms intervals.
Changed engine oil with fully synthetic chevron honda oil (green packing)
changed the oil filter. I changed it though its not needed.
checked underside nuts/bolts and all fluids. All the fluids were fine, nothing needed topping up. Cleaned the air and ac filter.
total cost came at 3880. 3000 for engine oil, 820 for oil filter and 60 for oil drain bolt washer. I was impressed by the oil filter quality. Its thailand made compared to the pakistan made filters toyota and suzuki uses.
Fresh oil means shifting into N while driving and rev lock mahol

Can i put the green one on 10k after this total synthetic?

to be very honest, I really don't know the difference between them. Total oil is SM grade and the green packing one is SN grade. The guy there told me SN is better and that this is the best and most expensive oil they have hence I went for it. No compromise when it comes to my cars. And I can assume your the same too. Since both oils are fully synthetic, I am pretty sure you can pour it next time without any issues.
Btw bro my car's oil had turned completely black at 3k kms. I doubt if it ll run for 5k. Hence I ll be keep the oil and oil filter interval at 3k kms.

i just checked the internet. SN grade oils are better than SM. One more thing I read is that if you have a modern engine with latest technology, you ll be better of using GF-5 oils. No idea what that is but I did notice that the green packing honda oil is gf-5.
so my guess is that go for it on the next oil change. Don't worry about the total oil your using now. Thats also a good oil.

Just chk with the can of total it's sm grade , on the next I will go for green chevron I'm in anger coz honda centre why honda centre never asked me "which oil u will put" . Then you bought the fully synthetic SM garde oil. Latest grade is SN. The owner manual says SM grade or above so no worries. Drive with peace of mind and next time if you want ask them to give you SN grade it costs Rs2999
