hope all are doing well
Honda has been really pissing me off lately
kinda disappointed
its been two months now and I still haven't received my extended warranty booklet. Everytime I call the showroom, they saw ek du dino me ajae ge. I called honda atlas today, the guy there took my car's chassis number checked it and said that the computer shows 4 years of warranty. He took my cell number and told me that I ll get a call from someone shortly who ll confirm me exactly what issue is causing the delay and that where my book is. Did not get any call from anyone whatsoever
will call them tomorrow again and hopefully get it resolved
I have been lenient with them till now but this attitude of theirs make me wanna go harsh.......

Then you bought the fully synthetic SM garde oil. Latest grade is SN. The owner manual says SM grade or above so no worries. Drive with peace of mind and next time if you want ask them to give you SN grade it costs Rs2999

Yup Bro I got total fully synthetic sm grade, I'm only worried mixing of Caltex fully synthetic with total fully synthetic will not make any difference or problem to engine.

If the computer records show a full 4 years warranty, then you should be fine.

But yes, do get after them to receive your booklet as well. Albiet it's just a mere formality.

I'm looking to replace my car (Toyota Corolla 2.0D Saloon - 2007) with a Honda. The options available to me are either a City Aspire 1.5 MT, or the Civic Oriel Prosmatec, fully loaded.

The price differential is about 7-8 lacs. What I would like to know is, how does the Civic rate against the City Aspire? I'm not looking to drag race, etc, so the speed comparisons don't really matter. I'm more so interested in whether the difference between the two is worth the 7-8 extra lacs.

Lol. Sir no offense meant to any of the Civic owners. My post was only addressing what the major upgrades are.

The Aspire has stiff shocks. I understand the civic has similar ones? I'm not looking to race cars, hence the power to weight ratio argument is insignificant for me.

My understanding of the upgrades in Civic is as follows:

• AT as compared to manual
• Sunroof
• better console etc
• jackknife key
• slightly more spacious
• 140bhp as compared to 120bhp

More so looking for what all these differences translate into. Best answered by someone who owns the civic. I've never had one, so have no reference point to compare with.

I own a 9th gen civic
the very first civic I have bought. Never had a honda before.
absolutely loving it
according to me, its definetly worth the pricetag. You get alot of things and on top, a brand new car. No issues with the car at all. Loving it so far.

Comparing apple with oranges may make sense in some parallel universe but comparing City with CIVIC is an outright crime... Civic and City are worlds apart.

Civic is a better built car in every aspect from city. Better suspension, better technology, better seats , more comfort, better materials ..starting from plastics to the structure , better handling, better road presense ...weather it is quantitative or qualitative aspect ..CIVIC is better ...

Civic is a flagship model of PAK Honda while city is a compromise. ASPIRE is a cosmetic version of City ... make up jiyna bhi kr lo gari wohi hai

Having said that , let me add that I am a fan of City ...it is the best value for the money and extremely fuel efficient BUT it cannot be compared on any level with Civic

And yes ... civic is okay for its price as far as PAKi market is concerned. ...

Someone needs to find out how to get Reverse Cam to show up in the IMID display. That could save many potential buyers from getting the rip-off NAV just to back up the car

Agreed. I'd much rather spend the same amount and get an aftermarket audio system installed. 50k for that. Not worth it IMO.

When I was going for a civic , I just coudn possibly fathom the 2.4 mill price tag ( just my personal opinion ), coz in that bracket range or near about the options for a grade class JDM in 1.8 category open up .... however, 2 mill made much more sense to me and therefore went for the base model... have to say in current market scenario, this is the best value for money option available in Pakistan ( also my personal opinion ), also MT was in any case my preferred option and I guess that worked in my favour as well. All in all , when a sedan car has the ability to go 0-100 in less than 9.5 sec and yet at the same time can give you fuel economy of more than 14kmpl (if driven calmly), I think its the complete package and Honda have gotten it rite .... Hope it helps ..

i've purchased civic oriel pt one month back. And honestly i am very disappointed when it comes to ride comfort as compared to my previous 7th gen. Car is way too bouncy even on seemingly smooth roads. usually bounces alot when there is no one sitting on back seat. Plus im having issues with high speed stability. At approx 180 kph, it feels like the rear end doesn't want to go straight, it constantly sways left to right. Got alignment done from honda rawalpindi still no avail. Feels like that rear end doesn't have any grip.
im running continental comfort 5 (205/65/15)

press the volume/power button once and the screen will go dim, press it again and it will turn off
pressing it the third time will restore it to normal brightness

Salam, my question is regarding the factory fitted stereo (non-navigation):
- how does one mute/pause CD playback?
This comes handy in case of a phone call. Currently one has to power off the system to take a call. Thanks.
