it happened also with me, i suggest all who drive ABS car after having a non ABS, please calibrate your mind while having a safe hard brake in an empty road (so munh main na ayain) this will tune your driving for a safe distance and avoid accident. I

Bhai empty road pr hi try kiya tha.... lkn road khtm ho gae aor chowk k centre main ja kr ruki gari....
I mean abs apply kiye bgair brake lgata hon aksar. Thakk kr k rukti gaari. Confidence b aata.... lkn ye ABS pr confidence nahi build ho rha aesy feel krwati jesy brake slip ho rhi aor gari ruk nahi rhi....

I've always used OEM discs in all my cars. Would suggest you to do the same.

I am checking and checking and mostly found that EBC brake pads are better than OEM brake pads.

ABS only prevents wheel lock to enable the driver to steer away from a potential obstacle in case of an emergency.

ABS never decreases braking distance. It infact increases it.

You will 100% crash your car if you think ABS is something beyond Physics.

On wet and slippery surfaces it does reduce the distance infact because a non abs car won’t stop and keep skidding

With all due respect, you are wrong in this regard. When the wheels lock up and don’t grip the road that results in the car slipping constantly instead of stopping. The abs unit senses that loss of grip/traction and brings back the wheel to achieve optimum stopping procedure

Here are video references of practical experiments, due to control of tyre skid against the surface itself ABS reduces stopping distance. The friction control itself helps the car to stop because a non abs creates useless friction along with liquidation/melting of the tyres in a non ABS when they are skidding

Here is another practical demonstration on wet surface, again ABS system makes the car stop earlier

When a non abs brake car locks it wheels its just the tyre sliding against the road while in ABS system even with the paused intermittent braking the tyre is giving traction and grip more than a car that is relying only on a skidding tyre rubbing against the road in non ABS
