My 2014 civic's key has gotten some play in the fob. Also, I am able to pull it out even when the ignition is ON. Is there a way that I could repair this Fob key? I also have the spare key. Is it possible to use the spare key into the fob and get a new spare key from any lock maker?

Sir as much as I know,Grooves on old keys with the passage of time as usage start showing the signs of age.This usually ends up in the key being a bit "Free" in the ignition. This was the case with the 8th gen that I owned previously.You can check this theory with your spare key as it should not give you the same issue since it isnt much used.

Salam,Ive been wanting to get a body kit for my civic 9th gen for some time now.In the market we only have one choice ie: the Modulo kit for 9th gen and quite frankly yes its a very good looking kit and I have decided to go for it.I just need some help regarding the material I should go for.I know for a fact that fiber is definitely the worst sort of kit available in the market.Besides that there is a thailand made kit and a chinease made kit.I want to know the difference between the two and is …

Yes you are right. But how to resolve this issue now? Can a lock maker fix this? Or do I have to go to 3S?

With the current key Im afraid I dont know a solution but you can get an exact copy of your primary key made by key programmers.It'll only cost you about 6-8k for a new key.I wouldnt suggest going to 3s for this matter as they'd rip your wallet apart probably.

Just a query, my 2015's nav screen stays on for a few seconds after switching the car off. Like it does not immediately go blank as soon as the car is switched off. Has anyone else noticed the same thing?
