Yeah Manual oriel does have cruise control, is there anything else that the manual oriel variant does not have and then prosmatec oriel does have?

Can someone post a detailed review of the manual variant of civic? What would I be missing in it compared to the prosmatec variant? I've been driving auto for 4-5 years now and I'm sick of it. Will I get tired driving the manual variant or is it fun and thrilling? Will I still get the features such as Cruise control as in the Auto variant?

Exactly the same as Prosmatec (obviously except for transmission) no difference at all. Same features and same accessories even Cruise is there. As far as missing the auto is concerned its a personal preferrence and choice. A manual car in Lahore traffic is only fun if its occassional but not on a daily basis in my opinion. I miss a manual tranny sometimes but to live with it everyday, i wouldn't be sure about that. Manual has slightly more thrill and feel while changing gears. But how often do i get the chance to do so. And then again its a practical saloon not a performance based sports car that would make so much difference in driving response within city. And on motorway etc, the transmission doesn't matter much when ure cruising. Its a personal opinion and yet again everyone's personal choice.

I would like to put the debate of Manual & Cruise to rest. Cruise is not a function dependant on transmission as such, it just controls your accelerator and holds it at a certain speed. Manuals do have cruise. I used to own a manual Accord with cruise and i have seen the oriel manual with cruise, my cousin owns a manual Oriel (which does have Cruise). Plus as a proof i am attaching 2 pictures: one is a shot of official spec sheet of honda and the other is a manual oriel 9th gen pkdm and it has cruise buttons

Thank you for the detailed reply. I dont drive a lot too much. I've done 21k km's on a 2011 model Altis. It's just getting too monotonous and I need a change. I guess manual oriel will be the choice.

If you don't feel concerned about re sale value, buy what you want to and feel like buying. Afterall its you who has to enjoy the car. Just keep in mind: Manual Civics 9th & 8th gen have a slightly slow resale and lower value. Give more loss than Prosmatec unless you find another Manual transmission fan like yourself who buys it.

You guys can read it as a warning on how to be careful when you take your cars for servicing over there. Me personally, I'm boycotting that place and Honda Defense (they share the same owner) from now on
