Honda Civic 9th Gen Fuel Economy

Good Day Fellows
I had traveled to Islamabad from Lahore last week. Got awesome average. Sharing for your information. Got the car fueled from Thokar Shell. Drove the vehicle between 120~130 Km/L. It gave a nice figure of 17km/l before Salt Range, however it gave an awesome cumulative of 16.5 over finish line in Islamabad.

After continuous usage in Islamabad city and return back to Lahore next day, around 900 km round trip, it displayed 15.7 km/l.

This was first time to get this average. My car version is just prosmatec without Cruise control and it is 49 k driven by now. I bought it brand new and replaced tires at 18 k with Nexen 195/65/15.

Nouman Bhai, you are getting excellent mileage from a 1.8 ltr, i have the same but with Yokohama advan db, my mileage is a bit less than yours even though car only covered 28k.

How do do you find Advan DB, arent these hard and noisy. Wana change that of Civic as they have done 33 by now. will do at 35k.

My Yokohama Advan Db experience is excellent, they are very soft and quite tyres but their disadvantage is in my sentence, yes they are soft so wear out early (by early i mean 50k as in our country people drag their tyres till 80, 90k). so if you think 50~55k is well enough for you go for advan.

my civic almost gives 14-15 km/l from Islamabad to Lahore as well. I mostly use the cruise control button and set it at 130 km/hr

Had a Trip to Ajk from Islamabad thorugh G.T road Via Dina was getting an avg of around 18.2Kmpl i was cruising at around 70 to 80km/h the avg dropped to 17.5Kmpl when i Faced some bad roads/ Traffic
Accumilate avg was around 17.3 Km/L
Manual rebirth 45k driven

Hi fellows!
I have Honda Rebirth 2014, bought a year back, it was run by the previous owner as sports car, with 17" rims big tyres and catalytic converter removed. I reinstated with original Honda alloy rims, original Dunlop tyres and catalytic converter but it's mileage doesn't improve. Now in local it gives maximum 9.5 km/l. Please advice how to improve the mileage?
