Honda civic dolphin 1995

I am looking to buy Dolphin 1995. Can anyone tell me about it's maintainance cost and the fuel consumption? Does it regularly need maintenance? is it ok to keep it on CNG?

I had it on CNG for many years. Worked fine on it. But if you buy now it will be 22 years old and many maintenance issues will come up frequently. So you must be ready to spend money and time on it frequently.

its a very nice car and nowadays its hard to find a car in better condition i own one
and as for your question maintence cost is normal parts are easily available fuel consumption on cng and petrol are good too but it depends on engine condition you will find many car with enigne swap non efi and vtec
a carburetor engine will give some problem but remember once you spend and maintained this car it wont give you much problem all depends on your daily runniung and use

Thanks for your reply. I think I should instead go for Baleno 2000 I am getting it in 390k in a good condition. I hope baleno will be better choice?

I would suggest that you browse through Pakwheels and read threads about Baleno before buying one. Please always keep in mind that an older car will always have maintenance issues no matter how well kept it has been. Age is a big factor in reliability.
